In the next instalment of the Sean Bowen blog with Coral, the leading jockey shares his thoughts on his rides at Haydock on Saturday and Market Rasen on Sunday.

Secret Trix was progressing all last year, and if he can carry on that progression tomorrow, then I’d say he’d go there with a decent chance. He’s a had a good break since his last run in October, but he was a good second at Aintree that day, and he’s gone well fresh before, so I don’t think the absence will be any problem to him.
The ground is a little bit of an unknown for him as the majority of his form has come on decent ground, but providing he handles the conditions, then I think he goes there with an each-way chance.
I haven’t ridden Numitor before, but my brother has on quite a few occasions, so he’s told me all about him. He was a decent fourth at Exeter last time on his return from almost a year off, and providing he doesn’t bounce, then hopefully he can improve on that.
It looks a very open race, but Numitor is certainly well handicapped on his best form, and if he does improve for that reappearance last time, then he should be bang there at the finish.
She’s being turned out quickly after her win at Bangor last week, but she did win well that day. The 7lb rise will make life tougher, but she’s still a relatively unexposed mare, so a mark of 99 might not be beyond her.
It looks another very competitive race, and there are plenty of unexposed types in here, but providing this doesn’t come too soon, then I’d be very hopeful she can go well once again.
Pilgrims King has been getting better with every run this season, and it was great for him to get his head in front at Doncaster the last day. A 2lb rise for that seems very reasonable, and he is very unexposed over fences, so there should be even more to come from him.
It’s very good prize money for the grade, so providing he didn’t have too hard a race last time at Doncaster, then he could be the one they all have to beat.
Superstylin came back to form when second at this track last time, and he missed one of the early fences which just affected his confidence a little bit, but he did come home well in the end. The ground was a little bit slow for him too that day, so hopefully the ground dries out even more between now and Sunday.
This doesn’t look the strongest race in the world, and it could be run to suit, so I think he goes there with a good winning chance.
He’s ran ok a few times this season, but we’ve always felt he’s needed good ground, so hopefully he’ll get that on Sunday. The step up in trip should suit him as well as I’ve felt he’s needed that for a little while, so hopefully the combination of better ground and a stiffer test of stamina will prompt some improvement from him.
He’s a straightforward horse, and I suspect this might be the time to catch him, so in quite a small field, I’d say he could take all the beating.
This will be Wade Out’s first start for us, so I don’t know an awful lot about him, but I think he’s pleased Olly and the team with what he’s shown at home so far. He’s had an away day too recently, so he should be ready for this, and hopefully he can put that point-to-point experience to good use and get off to a winning start for the yard.
