Italy produced one of the most impressive performances at the European Championship so far and will hope to build on that when they face Switzerland in Rome.
The Azzurri began their campaign with a 3-0 victory at the Stadio Olimpico and return to the same venue to face the Swiss, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Wales in Baku on Saturday.
Wednesday’s Group A match is live on ITV and kicks off at 8pm as we highlight a few potential Italy v Switzerland betting tips.
Italy v Switzerland match odds
Italy’s game against Turkey got things under way at Euro 2020 and they could not have made a better start, although they had to be patient.
Turkey defender Merih Demiral’s own goal early in the second half gave Italy a deserved lead and their impressive display was rewarded by further strikes from Ciro Immobile and Lorenzo Insigne.
Roberto Mancini’s side are now unbeaten in 28 matches, last losing in November 2018 to Portugal, and posted a clear warning to Europe’s other leading sides with a dominant display in a ninth straight win.
Switzerland were unfortunate to only take a point from their meeting with Wales, having dominated for long periods.
Breel Embolo put Switzerland in front after 49 minutes but Kieffer Moore headed in an equaliser and Mario Gavranovic’s late effort for the Swiss was disallowed for offside following a VAR check.
This is a much tougher test, with Switzerland priced up at 6/1 for the win while the draw is 11/4 and the Swiss are 29/20 to avoid defeat.
They are evens to get through to half-time on level terms while a drawn first half and an Italy win is available at 11/4.
Both teams to score is an option at 5/4 while over 2.5 goals is the same price.

Switzerland may be encouraged by the fact the last three meetings with Italy have all ended in a draw, although the most recent of those was in 2010.
The last competitive meeting between the two teams was in qualifying for Euro 2000.
Italy won the home game 2-0 thanks to an Alessandro Del Piero brace but had to settle for a 0-0 draw in the return match.

This Italy team looks full of talent all over the pitch. Giorgio Chiellini remains a class act in the centre of defence as shown by his brilliant last-ditch tackle in stoppage time to deny Turkey striker Burak Yilmaz while left-back Leonardo Spinazzola got forward well and his low shot resulted in Immobile’s goal.
Immobile has been cut to 10/1 in the Euros top scorer betting and is 3/1 to score first on Wednesday.
That could mean a busy night for Switzerland goalkeeper Yann Sommer while Xherdan Shaqiri may be their best hope of finding a way through the Italian defence.
