They’re level with Belgium at the top of the betting

England could end over 50 years of hurt at next summer’s belated Euro 2020 tournament, according to our latest odds.

Gareth Southgate’s side are joint-favourites with Belgium at 5/1 to lift the trophy.

France are next up at 11/2, with Germany a 7/1 shot and Spain at 8/1.

England have been drawn in Group D with Scotland, setting up a huge clash, as well as Croatia and the Czech Republic.

After beating Serbia on penalties to reach a first major tournament since 1998, we have Scotland out at 150/1 to triumph next summer – only Finland and North Macedonia are longer shots (200/1).

“We now know the full list of countries who will battle it out at the European Championships next summer and as England’s young stars go from strength to strength we make them the joint favourites to win the tournament, and bring football home at last,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.

“Belgium also head the market, whilst perennial winners France and Germany are firmly in the mix once more,” added Aitkenhead.

England are 4/11 to make it the furthest out of the Home Nations, with Wales also sealing qualification (80/1). Scotland are 9/2 to finish above England in Group D.

“The odds are firmly stacked against Scotland as they head to their first tournament in more than two decades, however they were the outsiders to beat Serbia and came through that test so who’s to say that they can’t upset the odds again next summer,” said Aitkenhead.
