SPORTSBOOK ODDS

The 2019 FA Cup final takes place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 18th May. Premier League champions Manchester City will take on Watford under the Wembley arch, with the game getting underway at 5:00pm. You’ll be able to follow the game live, with the match being broadcast on both BT Sport 2 and BBC One.

The first FA Cup final took place in 1872, where Wanderers FC beat Royal Engineers A.F.C 1-0 at the Kennington Oval. This will be the 138th edition of the final, with the FA Cup being the oldest domestic cup competition in England.

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have won the FA Cup five times in their history, with a 50% success rate from their 10 FA Cup finals. The Cityzens most recently won in the 2011 FA Cup final, beating Stoke City 1-0.

Javi Gracia’s Watford have never won the FA Cup, and they’ve only been involved in one other FA Cup final. In 1984, they narrowly missed out to Everton, losing 2-0 in front of 100,000 people at Wembley Stadium.

FA Cup Final winner odds

Manchester City have already retained the Premier League and the EFL Cup, but the Cityzens are looking to complete a historic domestic treble by winning the FA Cup for a sixth time. If they do so, it would be the first time an English side have completed the English cup treble.

Guardiola’s side are the red-hot favourites to win the showpiece under the Wembley Arch at 1/5 in the 90 minutes. It could go to extra-time and penalties, where City remain favourites at 1/7 to win the trophy again. In both Premier League meetings this season, City have got the better of the Hornets despite both teams scoring. The Mancunian side are 19/10 to win with Both Teams to Score.

Gracia’s Watford finished just outside the top-half of the Premier League table this season, sitting in 11th, after fading away in the tail-end of the campaign.

The Hornets can’t be overawed by the occasion if they’re to stand a chance of taking home the silverware. They needed extra time to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers in the semi-final, coming from 2-0 down to win 3-2. They’re 66/1 to Win from Behind at Wembley.

They’re 9/2 to win their first FA Cup through any method, but they’re slightly longer at 11/1 to win in 90 minutes.

Two of the last five FA Cup finals have needed extra-time to decide a winner. We’ve got odds of 11/2 for the match to end in a draw in 90 minutes and going to extra-time.

First scorers odds

Manchester City have been prolific in front of the goal this season, scoring 163 across all competitions. That includes 20 across five FA Cup matches, averaging four goals a game in this season’s tournament.

The club’s all-time record goalscorer Sergio Aguero already has 32 goals to his name this season, including a pair of FA Cup goals. He’s the 14/5 favourite to open the scoring at Wembley, or there’s 4/5 about him scoring anytime.

Raheem Sterling has had a superb campaign for City, and Gabriel Jesus is the top scorer in the FA Cup for the Cityzens this term. They’re both 16/5 to score first, or you can find evens on them scoring anytime.

Andre Gray could partner Troy Deeney up front for the Hornets if they go for broke at Wembley. A win would give them European football for only the second time in the club’s history.

Gray is the 12/1 favourite to strike first, or you can get 4/1 anytime. Gerard Deulofeu has been on fire recently and was Watford’s semi-final saviour. He’s also 12/1 to score first, or 4/1 anytime.

Deeney is 9/2 to net anytime in the FA Cup final.
