FA Cup Final: Does the winner gain European qualification?
Yes. The winner gets a spot in next season’s Europa League group stage.
Manchester City have already qualified for the Champions League, however. So if they win the FA Cup Final then the seventh-placed team in the Premier League, which is Wolves, would take the Europa League position.
However, instead of going into the group stage, the seventh-placed team would enter in the second qualifying round.
And if Watford win, they would go into the Europa League group stage, and Wolves would not have a place.
A Watford win would also mean the sixth-placed team in the Premier League would enter the Europa League in the second qualifying round, instead of the group stage.
