Odds and previews for Monday night’s FA Cup clash
The FA Cup fourth round’s final tie pits National League side Barnet up against Brentford of the Championship.
The draw for the fifth-round takes place straight after the match, and as the only non-league side still left in the competition, Barnet will be looking to beat Brentford to see their name in the hat for the last 16.

Head-to-head
Barnet haven’t faced Brentford in a competitive game since December 2011, where Barnet picked up a 5-3 shoot-out win after a 0-0 draw in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy clash.
The home team have had a longer route this stage of the cup, coming through a fourth qualifying round tie against Braintree Town before getting to the First Round proper.
Barnet then played out a 1-1 draw at home against Bristol Rovers, before beating Rovers 2-1 in the replay in Bristol. A 1-0 home win against Stockport County in the Second Round saw them through, before one of the ‘giant killings’ of the Third Round saw them win 1-0 away from home against Championship high-fliers Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
Brentford entered the competition in the last round, where a narrow 1-0 home win against League One opposition in Oxford United saw them set up this Fourth Round clash at the Hive Stadium.
Likely XIs
Both teams will be looking for a decent cup run to boost their season, with mid-table safety looking likely for both of these sides.
Barnet will be without first-choice keeper Mark Cousins after an early red-card against Braintree Town in their last match, so back-up keeper Rihards Matrevics will be looking to make an impression between the sticks.
New Barnet manager Darren Currie will want to stick with a very similar line-up to get the team playing together and picking up better results.
Brentford Head Coach Thomas Frank will also want to stick with his strongest side to keep their decent run of form going, unbeaten since 15th December.
Neal Maupay is among the leading goalscorers in the Championship this season, so will want to take that form into the FA Cup too.
Key Battles
The emphasis for Barnet will be stopping Maupay from getting the ball near the goal. The Brentford striker has been deadly in front of the net this campaign, bagging 17 in all competitions already.
Barnet striker Shaq Coulthirst will be looking to make an impact against Championship opposition again after scoring the winner against Sheffield United in the last round, so the Brentford centre-backs will have to keep a close eye on him.

Brentford are heavily favoured to win at 4/11, but Barnet come alive in the cup, and they’re out at 17/2 to go through.
