West Ham and Leicester in action

There are five replays to look forward to from the FA Cup on Tuesday evening.

Leicester City host Fleetwood Town in the pick of the ties, while West Ham United will also be hoping to avoid an upset at home to Shrewsbury Town.

The Coral News Team have cast their eye over those two matches, plus the other three ties on a bumper night of domestic cup action.

Vardy set to face former employers

Jamie Vardy missed Leicester’s visit to Fleetwood 10 days ago with a hamstring injury. In his absence, the Foxes laboured to a disappointing 0-0 draw at Highbury.

Now, though, the England international is back available. And he looks set to feature against his former club at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night.

The 31-year-old scored 31 goals in 36 appearances for Town before moving to Leicester in 2012. He’s 7/10 to net Anytime for the Foxes and 13/5 to Score 2 or More. It’s 11/1 that he bags a hat-trick.

Man City reward for Mansfield or Cardiff

Pep Guardiola and Manchester City await the winners of Mansfield Town v Cardiff City. The two sides played out a goalless draw in South Wales, with the Stags fashioning the best chance of the match through Lee Angol.

The Coral News Team are expecting another tough match at the One Call Stadium. Steve Evans’ men are unbeaten at home since October and have lost just twice in their last 20 games in all competitions.

Neil Warnock’s Bluebirds should qualify for the fourth round at 1/2 but may be forced to play extra time at 9/4. Mansfield are 27/10 to win inside 90 minutes.

First win for Jos Luhukay?

Friday’s derby against Sheffield United was a tough first game in charge for new Sheffield Wednesday manager Jos Luhukay. The Dutchman’s influence on the Owls is already clear, after they produced a resolute and disciplined performance at Bramall Lane.

Against Carlisle United, Luhukay should record his victory as boss. The Cumbrians have won just twice away from home since September, while Wednesday have won six of their last nine FA Cup matches at Hillsborough.

The Yorkshire side are 8/15 to win the match and 8/5 to Win to Nil. Atdhe Nuhiu makes appeal in the Anytime Scorer market, also at 8/5.

Can Shrewsbury put the Hammers to the sword?

West Ham have Joe Hart to thank for salvaging a replay against Shrewsbury. The on-loan Manchester City stopper was forced into a number of top-class saves to deny a shock Shrews victory at the New Meadow.

At the London Stadium, it should be another tight contest. Ten of the Hammers’ last 13 domestic cup ties at home have either been drawn or settled by a single goal.

With David Moyes set to rotate his squad once again, the match could pan out in a similar fashion to the initial tie. West Ham and Under 2.5 Goals is priced at 9/4, while Draw/West Ham could also prove favourable in the Half Time/Full Time market at 3/1.

Reading ripe for an upset

Reading’s form is woeful. The Royals are winless in eight matches and have won just twice at home since late-August. Stevenage, buoyed by a last minute equaliser away at Morecambe on Saturday, will fancy their chances of an upset at the Madejski Stadium.

Darren Sarll’s side are unbeaten in three but will need to overcome a dismal away record of 10 matches without victory. The ‘Borough’ have form for upsets in the cup, though. And they’ll smell blood against a Reading siding fighting relegation at the foot of the Championship.

The visitors are a tempting 5/2 to qualify and 11/2 to win inside 90 minutes. In what should be a tight game, Both Teams to Score – No, should also come in at 10/11.
