There could be plenty of drama

Anything can happen in a cup game and the FA Cup third round tends to throw up a few surprises each year.

This season may be no exception, with a number of potential giant killings on Saturday’s schedule.

Ahead of the action, the Coral News Team have taken a look at four big storylines from today’s games.

Will West Brom finally win a game?

It’s been a miserable season for West Bromwich Albion so far. They’ve not won a game in any competition since August. Their run of 20 league games without victory is the second-worst run in Premier League history.

But they could finally turn the corner on Saturday. The Baggies are 4/6 favourites away to League Two side Exeter City. A much-needed win could help them to turn their campaign around.

Top Faces Bottom

Championship leaders Wolves look like a Premier League side in waiting. They could show their quality this weekend at home to Swansea City, who are rock bottom of the top flight.

Wolves are 3/4 favourites to win this one. After four wins in their last five games, it would be a surprise if the second-tier side weren’t in the draw for the fourth round.

Can Burnley catch Manchester City out?

Manchester City are 15 points clear in the Premier League. They’re favourites for the Champions League. And they’re in the Carabao Cup semi-final. But they’re likely to rotate this weekend, which means Burnley could take advantage.

Burnley are having an impressive season themselves. They’re seventh in the league and are good enough to punish City if they’re not at their best.

Will Fulham pile the pressure on Mauricio Pellegrino?

Southampton are 17th in the Premier League and only out of the relegation zone because of goal difference. They’ve failed to impress under Pellegrino so far and the pressure is starting to mount.

Anything less than a win on against Fulham will only turn up the heat on the Argentine. Saints are narrow 27/20 favourites at Craven Cottage.
