Have your say on the big match at Coral

Being a dedicated follower of football isn’t easy at the best of times, but weekend’s like this remind us why we put ourselves through the hassle of it all. As well as a tantalising Old Firm Derby in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup, we also have Arsenal vs Man City at the same stage of England’s favourite knockout competition.

One to eclipse them all goes at Wembley on Saturday evening, where rivals Chelsea and Tottenham put their battle for the Premier League title to one side when facing-off in the last-four of the FA Cup, live on BBC from 5.15pm.

A cup match of major importance on terrestrial TV – what more could we ask for? Well, a winning bet wouldn’t go amiss, and that’s where we come in. Coral is the home of football betting, and we prove it again by rolling out the red carpet for this one. You can bet on a range of outcomes, from match winner to first goal scorer, and everything in between. Click now to have your say!

Stats see Chelsea in the final

The head-to-head record between these two this season stands at one win apiece, Chelsea claiming a 2-1 at Stamford Bridge back in November, Tottenham taking the bragging rights earlier this year, courtesy of a 4-0 at the lane. The Blues sit four points ahead of their opponents in the league, and on-course for what would be a historic title. But that counts for nothing – this is knockout football.

Conte’s Chelsea also dominate the stats in this competition however, with the H2H reading Chelsea 5 – 4 Tottenham, with a couple of draws. They edged themselves in front when last meeting in this format, back in April 2012, courtesy of a stunning 5-1 win at Wembley. The scoresheet that day reads like a who’s who of Chelsea, Drogba, Lampard, Mata, Ramires and Malouda all chipping in.

There will be plenty of profitable punters who enjoy keeping the stats close, and taking a Chelsea win on Saturday will net you a useful 31/20, or 8/11 to qualify. Those looking to take a bit more of a risk may find joy in the 17/4 Chelsea win and both teams to score.

Real Madrid want Alli in Coral's rumour reel for January 3rd.

Perfect time to play Chelsea

Tottenham travel to Wembley on the back of a stunning seven league wins in-a-row. That’s the best form we have seen from The Lilywhites since way back in 1967. They will take plenty of heart from that run, but what will serve as a further boost to their confidence is the current shape of their opponents.

Chelsea have lost two of their last four, including a 2-0 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend, a result that would have knocked the stuffing out of them. It won’t be a full-strength side we see here either, Antonio Conte struggling with a number of big-name injuries. If Spurs could’ve scheduled this game themselves, they would have had it this weekend.

Kane’s back, but Alli has the form

Mauricio Pochettino has Harry Kane back in contention, and he should walk back into his spot in the team. We make him a 9/2 poke to score first, or 7/4 any time. Dele Alli bagged a double when these rivals last butted heads. Fancy more of the same? England attacker Alli is 12/1 to score two or more again.

If a Tottenham win is your thing on Saturday, we dangle out a delicious 7/4 carrot, while they’re even money with us to qualify. What can we take from the recent results? Four of the underdog’s last seven league wins have come to nil, including each of their last two. Tottenham to win to nil is 18/5.
