We look at the best multiple for midweek

The FA Cup Third Round replays go ahead on Tuesday and Wednesday evening, with two given the live TV treatment, including Lincoln vs Ipswich, courtesy of the BBC cameras.

There’s little better than an evenly matched FA Cup tie under the bright lights, unless, of course, you are sitting on a winning bet. There’s surely nothing better than that! We’ve gone through the fixtures and report back with our punchy accumulator. £10 pays £74.80 at the time of writing.

Barnsley beat Blackpool

The Seasiders were desperately unlucky not to get the win at home, but it looks like they have had their chance – and blown it! At Oakwell Barnsley are a different animal and will be a popular choice with punters to get through.

The Championship side are unbeaten in their last three starts at home, with that run including wins over Blackburn Rovers and, more impressively, Norwich City. League Two side Blackpool show just one league win in their last five, with them failing to score in four of those. That shot-shy approach will cost them dear and Barnsley start us off at 4/7.

Back Sam Allardyce's new team Crystal Palace for a draw at Arsenal among our Premier League tips for matchweek 19.

Big Sam knows he must get it right in midweek

Crystal Palace beat Bolton

There’s no end of problems at Selhurst Park just now and Palace were beaten 3-0 by West Ham at the weekend for their third league defeat on the bounce, and are winless in seven. Having said that, big Sam will never get a better chance to put up a morale-boosting win than when hosting League One Bolton.

The Trotters were also beaten at Swindon on Saturday, following on from a draw with lowly Coventry. Phil Parkinson’s side are struggling for goals and wins away from home and have bagged just one victory on their travels in five, with three defeats coming to nil. That kind of form will see them blown away at 4/7.

Southampton beat Norwich

The Saints have had very little to cheer in the top-flight either, and are having an appalling season, by their own lofty standards, down in 13th-place. They have lost each of their last four league outings and will be more than happy to put their problems to one-side for an evening.

The Premier League side’s form is far from impressive, but Norwich haven’t been doing too well in the tier below either and I was as surprised as anyone to see them get a replay out of this. Southampton got a wake-up call and should heed the warning at 4/7.

Liverpool to sign Davila

Klopp must go with experience vs Plymouth

Liverpool beat Plymouth

Much was made of Jurgen Klopp’s youthful side at Anfield against Plymouth but they did command the lion’s share of possession and just couldn’t stick the ball in the net. With a couple more experienced bodies in attack, the reds should do the job with plenty to spare, especially if they can score early.

Plymouth are a League Two side and what they did in the initial encounter was nothing short of freak luck, we won’t see a repeat, especially if Klopp fields a capable side. I am having nothing to do with the romance of the FA Cup and Liverpool go in at 2/7.

AFC Wimbledon beat Sutton United

Non-League Sutton United are another I jotted down as one who wasted a massive chance to get themselves into the next round. They had their hand on progression, but just couldn’t finish the job and, of course, that will come back to ruin them.

League One AFC Wimbledon prepared for this tie with a useful 2-1 win over Oxford United and that would have done their confidence no harm whatsoever. The Wombles are unbeaten in two and I am relying on their class to shine through at 1/2.
