Spurs seek revenge for recent league loss

Three days after these two teams played out a 2-2 draw in the FA Cup third round at White Hart Lane, the Foxes visited Tottenham in the Premier League, condemning them to a 1-0 defeat courtesy of Robert Huth.

As such, it is likely to be Mauricio Pochettino’s side who come out all guns blazing and the north London outfit command odds of 31/20 with Coral to win in 90 minutes.

Spurs bounced back last time out with a 4-1 win over Sunderland, Christian Eriksen bagging a brace, with Harry Kane and Mousa Dembele also on the scoresheet.

Eriksen and Kane both scored against the Foxes during the 2-2 draw and the Dane is 7/1 to break the deadlock once more, while centre forward Kane is 4/1 in the same market.

For the Foxes, Shinji Okazaki netted in the same match and the Japanese striker is 7/4 to strike once more anytime. Riyad Mahrez will be hoping to put things right after missing yet another penalty, last time out as Leicester were held 1-1 at home by Aston Villa and the Algerian attacker is 11/2 to break the deadlock.

Reds really require replay rout

Liverpool are overwhelmingly odds-on at 1/10 to progress reach the next round of the FA Cup and boss Jurgen Klopp will be hoping for a much-improved performance from his side who were held 2-2 in the initial leg by League Two outfit Exeter.

This is a match that the Reds should be winning by a considerable margin and while there is the temptation to go down the youth route, Klopp could well start established stars in the hope that they can establish a big lead by half time and then bring youngsters on.

Fledgling striker Jerome Sinclair notched in the West Country and is 3/1 to break the deadlock, while, should Klopp opt for experience in attack, Christian Benteke is 5/2 to net two or more goals. Adam Lallana can usually be relied upon to create, and if he starts can have a positive effect on the game, with odds of 5/4 in the anytime market.

The visitors, meanwhile, have nothing to lose and could well go for it from the start. Tom Nichols initiated proceedings, getting fans’ weekends off to a great start on that entertaining Friday night and is a fantastic 4/1 to net anytime.

Lee Holmes was also on the scoresheet and punters can enjoy 6/1 odds in the same market. Veteran striker Clinton Morrison has experience playing at Anfield in the Premier League, most notably with Birmingham City and even bagged a brace in a 2-2 draw on the ground in the 2002/03 campaign. As such a trip down memory lane, yields odds of 6/1 in the anytime market.
