Odds and tops ahead of tonight’s Championship action

There’s no let-up in the schedule in the English second tier. This relentless grind through the 48-game season has many believing it’s one of the most competitive in Europe.

However, as we are thrust into yet another midweek of action, we analyse tonight’s intriguing round of ties…

Leeds United v Ipswich Town

Marcelo Bielsa’s men have the incentive of going top of the league if they beat rock-bottom Ipswich.

The Tractor Boys haven’t kept a clean sheet in any of their last fourteen league visits to Yorkshire. A Leeds win with Over 2.5 Goals is 23/20.

Kemar Roofe is now back in the team. He’s 16/5 to score two or more goals.

Bristol City v Hull City

Bristol City’s goals have been coming from every area of the pitch this season. Their last seven goals have been scored by seven different players.

Andreas Weimann to strike at 6/4 anytime would make it eight out of their last eight.

They take on a Hull City side who are cut adrift alongside Ipswich Town at the foot of the table.

Jarrod Bowen has notched four of Hull’s last five goals and he’s 3/1 to continue his hot streak.

Preston North End v Brentford

Brentford were rocked by the departure of manager Dean Smith to Aston Villa last week.

But the Bees are 29/20 to return to winning ways, which could see them snare a play-off position by the end of the night.

Their opponents Preston are unbeaten in October and a win at 17/10 would see them climb out of the relegation zone.

Bolton Wanderers v Nottingham Forest

Seven days ago Nottingham Forest were on the cusp on the top-six. But the unforgiving nature of the league now sees them in twelfth-place.

Forest have drawn two of their last four games, another stalemate against Bolton tonight is at 11/5.

Lewis Grabban to make it three goals in three games for the Reds comes in at 9/5 anytime.

West Bromwich Albion v Derby County

Third plays sixth in what looks like it could be the game of the night in the Championship.

Derby have picked up seven points away from home this season. Frank Lampard’s Rams are 27/10 to make it ten points on the road and inflict back-to-back defeats on West Brom.

After a slow start for Darren Moore, a Dwight Gayle-inspired Albion have started firing.

A win would see the Baggies go top. Gayle to score first and his team to win is at 5/1.
