With the UK summer window almost over, we’re tracking Coral’s transfer betting odds for news of the biggest potential deals.

A number of high-profile players are still featured and speculation is rife regarding where they may end for the rest of the season.

Salah linked with Saudi switch

Liverpool aim to keep hold of star man Mohamed Salah, whose situation has hit the headlines over the last week, with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad heavily linked with the forward.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has dismissed any potential idea of the Egyptian leaving, although the Saudi deadline is September 20.

“With just hours left of the UK summer transfer window, we make Mo Salah as short as 5/4 to complete a deal to any Saudi club,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“Even if Salah does remain at Liverpool when the transfer window closes, speculation about his future is likely to go on, as the Saudi transfer window remains open, but if Liverpool are to lose their star forward, they will surely want to bring someone in to replace him.”

One potential incoming at Anfield could be Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, although the Reds are also 5/6 favourites to snap up Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City.

“This seems like a good deal for all parties, and if the betting is to be believed, Phillips could become a Liverpool player within the next 24 hours,” declared Coral’s Lewis Knowles.

“His Manchester City career never really got going, but it would be no surprise to see him find his best form at Anfield under the guidance of Klopp.”

Maguire on the move?

England defender Harry Maguire has had to endure a tough time at Manchester United and was heavily tipped to join West Ham earlier in the window.

However, with the Red Devils rocked by injuries to Raphael Varane and Luke Shaw, the England defender is out to 5/1 to move to the Hammers.

Everton can be backed at 8/1 to capture his signature and Tottenham are 12/1 to launch a successful bid.

Old Trafford team-mate Scott McTominay can be backed at 3/1 to switch to West Ham and 5/2 to join Bayern Munich.

Johnson odds-on to earn his Spurs

Tottenham are yet to replace striker Harry Kane, who has joined Bayern Munich, but are 4/9 to complete a move for Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson in Coral’s transfer betting odds.

Wales boss Rob Page has backed Johnson to fill the void, commenting: “I think he’s just got to go.

“Young players today – and Brennan falls into this category – are a confident breed and he’s more than capable of playing at that level.

“He’s a very different player to Harry and, if he goes there, it is on his own ability and what he can offer to the team.”
