Two of the last three head-to-heads have finished all square and, with these sides in similar form, a share of the spoils for both looks likely again.

Wigan v Leeds – Draw
The hosts lie haplessly in the relegation zone, currently a massive nine points adrift of safety, while Leeds occupy 16th spot. Wigan have won the previous two Championship meetings, but the Yorkshire outfit have lost their last two away fixtures, meaning this could be a tight encounter at the DW Stadium.

Wolves v Watford – Away win
Slavisa Jokanovic’s promotion hopefuls are in the Championship title race, and only a single point leaders Middlesbrough. Their opponents are aiming to capture a play-off place and toppled Watford already this term, but don’t expect another upset.

MK Dons v Preston – Away win
There hasn’t been a winner in this fixture in six meetings, stretching back to December 2011, with every encounter since ending in a draw. Things are tight in the League One table too, with Preston currently sitting a point ahead of third-placed MK Dons. However, the visitors are on a slightly better run of form and should use this to their advantage.

Athletic Bilbao v Real Madrid – Away win
Carlo Ancelotti’s Galacticos have opened up a two-point gap over bitter rivals Barcelona at the summit of the Spanish League table and will raring to overturn their recent disappointing draw with Villarreal. Expect Real Madrid to rally to a dominant triumph over their mid-table opponents.

Aston Villa v West Brom – Home win
Tim Sherwood recently secured his first win as Aston Villa manager against West Bromwich Albion, and he will be hoping his side can relive their heroics in an FA Cup clash against the Baggies. The former Spurs boss has vowed not to field a weakened team and they hold home advantage again.

Dundee United v Celtic – Away win
The Bhoys are on a brilliant domestic run and have won all eight of their last league outings, while the Terrors are without a win in four. Celtic have smashed seven past their hosts over two games this term and will be hungry for goals again.

Liverpool v Blackburn Rovers – Home win
Brendan Rodgers’ Reds have lost once in 90 minutes over their last 20 matches, with midfield magician Philippe Coutinho in fine form. Blackburn may struggle to contain the Brazil wizard, with Rovers having failed to win any of their last four games.

Napoli v Inter Milan – Home win
Neapolitan outfit Napoli have triumphed in all of their last five clashes across all competitions against inconsistent Inter at the Stadio San Paolo, smashing 11 past their guests. Rafa Benitez’s boys are also unbeaten in both battles with the Nerazzurri so far this this season.

Atletico Madrid v Valencia – Home win
Valencia have not been able to sink capital club Atleti on home turf in their last five attempts, with the La Liga champions having put five past Los Che on their past two visits to the Vicente Calderon. Diego Simeone’s side have also lost just twice on home soil this season.

Manchester United v Arsenal – Home win
United have not been beaten at Old Trafford by Arsenal since 2006, are undefeated in all of their past seven duels against the Gunners. Wayne Rooney is back in form after bagging a brace last time out and will be aiming to score against Arsenal for the second time this term.
