Five selections from England and beyond

It’s another huge Sunday of club football across the UK and Europe as the weekend looks to finish on a high note.

There are a handful of Premier League fixtures to look forward to, along with a full European programme across the continent.

The Coral News Team have delved into the stats book and pulled out five pearlers for you.

Stake £5 on this five-fold accumulator and if all are victorious, you could win £121.70. Prices and returns correct at the time of writing.

Let’s dig in.

Everton to beat Burnley

Having won back-to-back domestic games, Everton could make it a trio of victories against Burnley.

Ronald Koeman’s side have looked somewhat back to their best in recent weeks after a tough start.

The Europa League tie involved zero travelling what with it being on Merseyside. In that sense, it won’t have been bothersome.

The Toffees have beaten the Clarets in their last three fixtures at Goodison Park. They are 4/6 to get this acca off to a good start.

Dundalk to beat Shamrock Rovers

Attention turns to Ireland here where Dundalk host Rovers in the semi-finals of the FAI Cup at Oriel Park.

The Lilywhites have been in tremendous form in recent weeks, winning their last five home games in a row.

Stephen Kenny’s team have scored 20 goals in those fixtures and conceded none.

Shamrock Rovers will be awkward opposition but the Irish champions will be looking to make club history here. Should they win, it will be a third Cup Final in a row.

They are this acca’s second selection at 1/2.

Valencia to beat Athletic Bilbao

Valencia have made a cracking start to the domestic season. Marcelino’s side currently lie in fourth place, just a point behind Sevilla.

The South Eastern outfit have won their last two meetings with Athletic at the Mestalla and will be confident in this game too.

That’s because the Basques will have played a tough Europa League tie with Russian side, Zorya Luhansk a few days previous.

Athletic tend to struggle in a fixture immediately after a UEL game. They were beaten by Las Palmas and drew with Getafe after previous European games.

Valencia have won two and drew the other of their three La Liga home games so far this term.

They’re 10/11 to bag all three points.

RB Leipzig to beat Koln

Both these sides have been in European action this week so neither has much of an advantage in that sense.

However, Koln have been poor in the Bundesliga this season.

They did stop the rot in their previous game against Hannover. But that makes it just a point from their opening six league fixtures.

Leipzig managed a draw and a win against Koln last season. The Saxony side have far more quality in terms of players.

They look decent value at even-money and are our fourth pick.

Roma to beat AC Milan

Again, a game that involves two sides involved in midweek European football.

However, Roma will be glad of the extra day’s rest here considering they travel to the San Siro.

The two clubs are neck-and-neck in the table with 12 points. Vincenzo Montella is under more pressure as Milan boss, though.

The former Roma striker has spent big in the summer and the current owners have been somewhat underwhelmed with results so far.

The Giallorossi have won the previous three meetings, including the last two in Milan. They are 8/5 and complete our Sunday Coral acca.
