What is the St Leger Festival?
The St Leger Festival is one of the highlights of the Flat racing season and the four-day meeting is held at Doncaster Racecourse every September.
One of the final major summer meetings, plenty of Group prizes will be handed out on Town Moor over the four days.
When is the St Leger Festival?
This year’s event takes place between Wednesday September 7-Saturday September 10.
The meeting concludes with the St Leger itself, the fifth and final Classic of the season.
Contested over one-mile-six-furlongs, it is the oldest of the five British Classics and its history dates back to 1776.
