Jim Crowley: “We’re expecting a bold show from Eshaada”
Coral ambassador Jim Crowley discusses his three rides at Doncaster on Thursday
Swift Asset is a nice horse and I think he ran well in the big Sales race at Newbury earlier in the summer, when he seemed to be drawn on the wrong side.
He’s since run at Goodwood and York, over five furlongs and then six, and it’s six again for him here.
He seems to take his racing well and at a decent prize I could see him running into a place.
We’ve been waiting for the rain for Eshaada, so any more before the race would be welcome.
She runs here without a Group One penalty which is nice and we can put a line through the Haydock run as that race turned into a bit of a mess.
What a race! Eshaada beats Albaflora in the Group 1 QIPCO British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes with Snowfall only third! @Ascot pic.twitter.com/WQYOpgZqDb

The autumn is her time of the year, this mile six trip won’t be an issue, and she’s in great form at home, so we’re expecting a bold show from her here.
Zainalarab has been in great form, winning his last three, although I’ve not ridden him since his first run, when he was very keen at Salisbury, and he’s clearly matured since then.
He’s by Wootton Bassett so he should handle any more cut in the ground and I think he has a great chance, he looks like a really useful horse.
