Esports Boxing – 17:00 (Live streamed and bet In-Play)
eMike Tyson Vs Eric‘eButterbean’ Esch
On 22ndNovember 1986, Iron Mike Tyson became the youngest Heavyweight Champion of theworld at just 20 years and 145 days old. In that time, he’d achieved a cleanrecord of 28-0, with 26 of those wins coming by way of KO or TKO.
In hiscareer, 44 of his 50 fights were won by KO or TKO, and we make him the 1/8odds-on favourite to win this fight by stoppage. You can find 1/12 on aTyson win by any means.
Butterbeanmay prove to be tough competition, only losing by KO or TKO twice in 91 fights. We see some value in Tyson winning this one on points, with odds of 10/1 onthat. Think Tyson can really outclass his opposition and fancy the ‘Baddestman on the planet’ to win by KO or TKO early on, rounds one and two arejoint-favourites at 5/2.
2020Candidates Chess tournament
After aday’s break, we’re back with Round seven of 14 from the Candidates Chesstournament.
Ian Nepomniachtchi is heading the betting as the even-money favourite, with the 2018 champion Fabiano Caruana priced up at 11/4 to notch the win.
With anundefeated record so far through his six matches, with three wins and threedraws, the price offered on Nepomniachtchi looks quite enticing. He’s clearlyat the height of his form.
WhenCaruana won the 2018 Championship, he won five of 14 matches, with four winsand nine draws enough for Sergey Karjakin to win the title back in 2016.
Nepomniachtchiis fifth in the world as things stand, with the Russian’s ranking peaking inSeptember. His current form suggests he is getting better, and his win ratiostands at well ahead of the curve for the tournament.
We expectto see a slight regression, but it’s hard to make a case for Fabiano Caruanahere, despite being ranked second in the world. His only win so far has comeagainst Kirill Alekseenko, who sits bottom of the pile.
In theshort term, the games continue where Nepomniachtchi is 6/1 to beatsecond place Maxime Vachier-Lagrave as black. The draw is 3/10. Caruanais 13/8 to beat Wang Hao.
Golf
The Cactus Tour – Sundance
There’sanother round of the Cactus Tour taking place, coming from Buckeye, Arizona atthe Sundance Golf Course.
It’sHayley Moore that heads the field as a 7/2 favourite. Moore went to theUniversity of Arizona, so she’ll be fully aware of the surroundings here.
Moorepicked up her debut win on the Cactus tour back in 2019 at the StallionMountain, so she’ll be looking to build off that. Second-favourite SarahBurnham has taken a step down in class from the LPGA tour to compete here.
The LPGAhasn’t had an event since February, so she’ll be joining in here and hoping herclass shines through. We’ve got her at 4/1 in the outright betting.
