Our traders are offering 100/1 on ex-England manager Sam Allardyce winning Strictly Come Dancing 2019, as newspaper reports link him to signing a deal for the show.

Any customers placing bets will be refunded should he not take part.

“It would be quite a sight to see Big Sam strutting his stuff on the Strictly dancefloor this winter and it’s beginning to look like he just might,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.

“We make him a 100/1 shot to win the Glitterball Trophy, and whilst perhaps some public support might keep him the competition for a while it seems extremely unlikely his moves will be good enough for the latter stages,” added Aitkenhead.

Coral are offering odds on a couple of other celebrities who might take part, with Rylan Clark-Neal the shortest odds of all at 12/1.

Chris Evans is 50/1 to go all the way and win the show.

“Rylan would certainly be a popular contestant and we can envisage him going quite far if he does enter Strictly. Less so for Chris Evans, who might well struggle and is 50/1 to triumph,” added Aitkenhead.
