Roma and Genoa scrap for vital points at the Stadio Olimpico

Hosts Roma (odds-on at 8/15 with Coral for victory) prepare to welcome high-flying Genoa to the Eternal City, as both teams attempt to snatch a Serie A spot that will guarantee continental football next campaign.
For giants the Giallorossi, a Champions League place is at stake, as cross-capital competitors Lazio look to have stolen second spot, while Napoli are not far behind in fourth.
Meanwhile, surprise package the Griffin are clinging on to the coattails of local rivals Sampdoria to clinch a Europa League place, having already whizzed passed Fiorentina.
Roma’s poor home record will be a worry for Rudi Garcia, as the Giallorossi have won just one of their last 14 outings across all competitions at the Stadio Olympico in normal time.
Genoa, by contrast, have been in fine form lately, winning four of their last five to storm up Serie A, grabbing 11 goals along the way in that rampant run.
The Romans have also found their shooting boots of late, after netting three away at Sassuolo, so odds of 12/1 for both teams to score in both halves, or 3/1 to split the spoils, are enticing.
Guests Genoa do have a poor recent record at the Stadio Olimpico, having conceded seven in their past two visits, though they are currently the most in-form club of the two.
Hoping to keep a spot in the starting XI for the hosts will be Ivory Coast dangerman Seydou Doumbia. The Winter window signing has struggled to impress since arriving in the Eternal City, but struck the first last time out and is 4/1 to do so again.
Also likely to feature for the Italian capital club are attacking midfield threats Miralem Pjanic and Juan Iturbe, who are respective prices of 2/1 and 15/8 in the anytime market.
Belgian dynamo Radja Nainggolan (16/5) notched the only goal in the reverse, so the sought-after star is also worth backing.
As for Griffin goal threats, ex-Giallorossi frontman Marco Boriello could return to haunt his former club at 15/2 to have the final say, or 12/5 to be on target anytime.
AC Milan-owned forward M’Baye Niang (14/5) and rapid wingman Iago Falque (8/1 to open the scoring) are much more likely to test the Romans’ rearguard, however.
