The Premier League welcomes fans back for the final four nights of the regular campaign ahead of the play-offs.
Michael van Gerwen has surged back to the top of the table, moving two points clear of in-form duo Nathan Aspinall and Dimitri van den Bergh.
With Van Gerwen sitting pretty and Peter Wright and James Wade unlikely to claw their way back into top-four contention, there looks to be five players fighting for three spots.
Here we look at some of the leading contenders in the outright betting and their Premier League darts odds.
Michael Van Gerwen – 6/4
Van Gerwen has really stepped on the gas in his last three games, finally showing signs of returning to his very best after an inconsistent spell.
The Dutchman recorded 8-3 hammerings of Wade and Van den Bergh either side of beating Jonny Clayton to become the favourite for the title.
He topped the table for seven seasons in a row after making his debut in 2013 and is determined to silence his critics after missing out on a play-off spot for the first time last year.
Dimitri van den Bergh – 3/1
Van den Bergh’s career took off last July when he won the World Matchplay as a debutant.
Although he sits third in the table, two points behind Van Gerwen, his form has tailed off slightly with only one win in his last four matches.
The Belgian has Jose De Sousa, Wright, Wade and Clayton to come and will need to improve his showing of just four points from those set of games in the first half of the campaign.
The 26-year-old’s experience of winning in Blackpool will at least stand him in good stead for the run-in.
Nathan Aspinall – 13/2
Aspinall had struggled for form playing behind closed doors until the Premier League saw him refreshed and return to his best.
The 29-year-old was top of the table not long ago, but defeats to Clayton and Van den Bergh checked his progress.
He will be buoyed by his displays in the first half of the campaign against his remaining opponents though, taking two wins and the same amount of draws from matches against Van Gerwen, Wade, Gary Anderson and De Sousa.
Aspinall will be determined to go one better after losing to Glen Durrant in last year’s final, having finished third in the table.
Gary Anderson – 16/1
Anderson’s experience could be vital as he bids to sneak into the top four.
A two-time winner of this event, the Scot took fourth spot last year and has reignited his campaign this time around with back-to-back wins over Van den Bergh and Wright after finally finding some consistency on his doubles.
Anderson has no margin for error left as he sits two points off De Sousa, who is also currently 12 legs better off.
It is likely he will need to win three – or all four – of his matches against Clayton, Van Gerwen, Aspinall and Wade.
