Odds and preview ahead of the week six action

After a fifth week full of upsets on the Premier LeagueDarts schedule in Exeter, we move on to week six in Liverpool where we’ve gotplenty of great matchups.

Peter Wright was on top form last week, averaging 110 in his7-3 win over Nathan Aspinall. He’s up against Michael Smith, who comes in offthe back of an impressive victory over world number one Michael van Gerwen.

Elsewhere, both Van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price will want topick up wins after losing in Exeter, plus it’s top vs bottom as Glen Durranttakes on Daryl Gurney.

The schedule also includes Gary Anderson taking on NathanAspinall, with Rob Cross up against Stephen Bunting. And before the first arrowis thrown, we’ve got all the key odds right here…

Michael Smith v Peter Wright

Smith impressed against Van Gerwen last week, storming outto a 6-1 lead before a few nervy legs gave the world number one hope. Wrightput in the complete performance in his 7-3 win over Aspinall last week, with a110 average and four 180s.

Snakebite is slight favourite at 11/10 to win thismatch-up, but with Smith joint-top with Durrant heading into week six, he couldcontinue his fine form. He’s 9/5 to win.

Last week’s performance from Wright could have turned heads, with the Scot looking like he was back to his best. We’ve got him down at 4/1 to be King of the Oche with the win, most 180s and highest checkout.

Gerwyn Price v Michael van Gerwen

Both Price and Van Gerwen looked a shadow of their usualhigh standards last week, but neither will want to dwell on the past and willhope to get back to winning ways.

It’s MvG who’s odds-on favourite to bag a fourth win in hisPremier League campaign at 5/6, but Price could overtake in the leaguetable with a win. The Iceman is the 9/4 underdog.

The pair played out a thrilling draw in their last PremierLeague meeting in April last year. If you can’t split the two this time, that’savailable at 10/3.

Gary Anderson v Nathan Aspinall

In the evening’s curtain call, It’s Anderson v Aspinall, another match where both throwers will be looking to get back on winning terms.

The Asp has been performing well in the league, starting thenight fourth level with MvG. We make him the narrow favourite at 13/10,but The Flying Scotsman is still available at 6/4.

Anderson has the lowest checkout percentage in this season’sPremier League campaign, but in contrast, Aspinall landed a 170 finish on weekone. Fancy the Asp to get another? You can find 14/1 on that.
