Odds and preview for tonight’s matches
We’re back with another round of PDC Home Tour matches, where Group 19 take their place on the oche for six more matches tonight.
World number 20 Glen Durrant is the headline act here, withJustin Pipe, Maik Kuivenhoven and Vincent van der Meer hoping to challenge fortop spot in the group.
Before the first arrow of the night is thrown at 19:30, ourtrader Denis Yousuf has given us his picks of ties of the round.
The third match of the night is a battle between twoDutchmen in the group and it looks to be the closest heat of the night.
Maik Kuivenhoven is the slight favourite at 8/11,ahead of Vincent van der Meer who comes into the tie at even money.
There’s very little between the pair, with only six placesseparating them in the world rankings. The match is likely to go right down tothe final leg, and we’ve got Maik to win 5-4 priced up at 6/1, with Vincentto win 5-4 down at 9/2.
In an all-English encounter, Glen ‘Duzza’ Durrant comes inat his shortest price of the night at 2/5 to win the tie. Justin ‘TheForce’ Pipe is the underdog at 9/5 to win his second tie of the round.
Over the last three years, Durrant has thrown a staggering271 maximums in comparison to the number of 180s Justin Pipe has hit, as the48-year-old has only managed 98 in all competitions over that period.
With that in mind, we make Durrant 5/4 to hit the most180s.
In the final match of the evening, it looks to be aone-sided affair with Durrant the overwhelming 1/3 odds-on favourite.
Kuivenhoven has his back against the wall in a match whichcould be over before it begins, as the Dutchman is 21/10 to cause an upset.
Sixty places separate the pair in the PDC world rankings, and with such a gulf in class, Glen Durrant to be king of the oche could be agood pick. You can find 2/1 on Durrant to win the match, with the most180s scored and the highest checkout.
