Darts Trader’s Tips: PDC Home Tour – Thursday 14th May

Odds and preview ahead of tonight’s matches
The PDC Home Tour continues tonight and Michael Smith is in action in Group 28.
The world number 5 is 4/5 to win the night and he’ll face competition from Mike van Duivenbode, Luke Humphries and Andy Boulton.
And our trader Edward Saunders has taken a look at the key matches.
‘Bully Boy’ Smith is first up and he’s the clear favourite against his Dutch opponent at 1/4, with Van Duivenbode priced at 13/5.
Smith is the highest-ranked opponent ‘The Pigeon’ has ever faced but he could start strongly and Van Duivenbode is 21/10 to win the first leg.
Humphries is the pre-match favourite to edge past Boulton, with our traders pricing him at 8/15. Boulton, meanwhile, is 11/8 to win the match.
The higher-ranked ‘Cool Hand Luke’ is also 2/1 to be crowned King of the Oche, which requires him to win the match, get the most 180s and score the highest checkout.
The two former world youth champions face off in what should be the best match of the evening. Smith is the pre-match favourite at 1/2 and he has the advantage of throwing first, while Humphries is going at 3/2.
Despite being the underdog, Humphries has quality which may require Smith to up his game. Smith to hit the most 180s is 11/10.
