Odds and preview of tonight’s action

The PDC Home Tour playoffs continue tonight, with another spot in the last eight up for grabs.

Two-time PDC world champion Gary Anderson returns to the oche, with Luke Humphries, Jamie Lewis and Nick Kenny also in the mix.

Before it gets started, our expert Michael McDonald has previewed the pick of tonight’s action.

Gary Anderson v Luke Humphries (21:00)

After Gary Anderson sorted out the issues with his broadband, there’s been no stopping him. He only dropped four legs in total against his three first-round opponents.

The evening’s fourth match sees him up against Luke Humphries, who needed two attempts to reach the playoffs.

This should be the Flying Scotsman’s biggest test of the night. Anderson is 8/15 favourite, with Humphries at 11/8. A market that could be worth considering is Anderson to win 6-2 at 8/1.

Luke Humphries v Jamie Lewis (20:00)

It’s been almost six weeks since Jamie Lewis won Group 1 to qualify for the playoffs. After he surprised current PDC world champion Peter “Snakebite” Wright, he’s 4/9 favourite to beat Lewis, who’s the 13/8 outsider.

Humphries has won both of the previous meetings between the two in ranking events. In the match handicap market, Humphries -1.5 legs is a 5/6 shot.

Nick Kenny v Jamie Lewis (20:30)

We’ve got an all-Welsh battle here and it’s the tightest match of the night in terms of prices. Jamie Lewis is 8/11 to win, with PDC newcomer Nick Kenny at evens.

Kenny only gained his PDC Tour Card at the start of the year and will be eager to enhance his growing reputation. However, Kenny has won the two previous clashes between this pair. He’s 5/1 to win again in a 6-5 thriller.
