Strong support for Europe this afternoon has seen Coral cut their odds on Ryder Cup 2018 glory this weekend.
A European victory has been cut into 5/4 (from 11/8). Consequently, the USA have drifted out from sizeable favouritism at 8/11 into a new price of 4/5.
Meanwhile, it’s 12/1 for a first Draw since the 1989 staging at The Belfry.
Coral’s John Hill said: “The first sustained support behind Europe has now arrived as many punters believe the hosts can win back the trophy at Le Golf National.”
Justin Rose and Rory McIlroy are 5/1 joint-favourites to be the Top European Points Scorer.
For the USA, there are also a pair of 5/1 favourites, with Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson the two men at the head of their points betting.
