Preview and odds for Game 6 of NBA Finals

Milwaukee Bucks have put themselves in pole position to secure their second NBA title in their history against Phoenix Suns.

Milwaukee are 1/4 outright favourites to lift the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy while Phoenix have drifted to 3/1 after losing Game 5 at home to trail 3-2 in the NBA Finals.

The Bucks return to Wisconsin for Game 6 and can seal their first NBA crown since 1971 with a 10/21 victory at the Fiserv Forum in the NBA betting tips.

Bucks v Suns match odds

The Bucks have a formidable home record during the post-season, losing only one of their 11 matches – to Atlanta Hawks – and dispatched Phoenix in both matches so far in the series.

Milwaukee won by 120-100 in Game 3, with a 16-20-point winning margin priced at 17/2 for the home team and Game 4 saw the Bucks win by six points. This is 1/1 on the handicap market.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is the star for the hosts and they have won all four matches in Milwaukee since his return from a hyper-extended left knee and other handicap markets could come into play.

They had won by 34, 11 and 20 points leading into their Game 4 contest and the Bucks are 19/10 to win by 10 or more points in the NBA betting tips.

Bucks v Suns head-to-head

The Suns will have to do something they have yet to achieve in the NBA Finals – win in Wisconsin.

They are 17/10 to extend the series to a decider in Arizona and will need star man Devin Booker to shine once again in Game 6.

Booker posted a game-high 42 points last time out as Milwaukee held off a Phoenix fightback as they closed within one point inside the final minute before Antetokounmpo put down a last-gasp alley-oop.

Monty Williams’ side will want to get off to a fast start, which they have done in each of the last three matches despite tasting defeat. Phoenix are 5/4 to be leading after the first quarter.

The last two matches between the two sides in Milwaukee yielded 212 and 220 match points and it is 17/5 for the contest to have between the 211-220 point band.

Key battles

Booker versus Antetokounmpo is the main head-to-head battle on court but it is the supporting cast who will have a telling difference on Wednesday morning.

Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday have been superb in recent contests for the Bucks while Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton are vital for Phoenix.

The Suns have won the race to 20 points in each of the previous three games, which can be backed at 23/20, while under 104.5 team points, which has happened in their two visits to Wisconsin in this series, is priced at 13/8 in the NBA betting tips.

The Bucks have been dominant on home court and have scored at least 109 points against the Suns in their last six matches at the Fiserv Forum, which is available at 4/9, and 120 or more in three of the last four, which is 2/1.
