We’ve previewed the best of the day’s action

There’s plenty of sport to enjoy across the globe on Thursday, including horse racing, darts, football and tennis.

And we’ve highlighted all the day’s key events for you.

Horse Racing

Following its return last week, French racing has delivered some unforgettable meetings and there are four more to enjoy on Thursday.

The action from Longchamp has been moved to Deauville from 10:10, while there’s also jam-packed cards from Le Lion-D’Angers, Lyon Parilly and Nantes.

Australia hosts six meetings from the early hours, including from Belmont and Seymour. Later in the day, fans of American racing have three meetings to enjoy in the evening, including a six-race card at Golden Gate Fields from 20:45.

Meanwhile, there are five other racing events taking place worldwide from Germany and Japan.

Darts

The Modus Icon of Darts continues on Thursday as seven more players go head-to-head in a round-robin format.

Mark Webster and Andy Jenkins kick the day off at 10:30, with the latter currently heading the betting at 2/5. Martin Adams, Keelan Kay and Scott Mitchell are also in action.

Darryl Fitton and Jason Askew complete the line-up and the pair clash in the final match at 17:30, with Askew currently the favourite to triumph at 2/5.

Football

The next round of Bundesliga fixtures doesn’t start until Friday but there’s still some action to enjoy on Thursday.

Neman Grodno are the 19/10 outsiders to beat 7/5 shot Torpedo-Belaz at home in the Belarusian Premier League.

Elsewhere, there are two matches taking place in the Costa Rican Primera Division.

Snooker

The Armenian Cup continues on Thursday with three matches, starting with Arman Petrosyan against Mesrop Qamalyan at 7:00. Petrosyan is the slight underdog at 4/5 but he’s the clear favourite to win his second match against Artur Harutyunyan at 1/7.

Qamalyan takes on Harutyunyan in the final game of the day at 12:00, with Qamalyan also going at 1/7.

What else is on?

As sport slowly starts to resume, there’s plenty going on and there are three different tennis competitions to look forward to – there are two matches in each of the International Tennis Series, the US Pro Tennis Series and the Exo-Tennis Series 2.

Golf fans can enjoy the Saint Lucie Trail Summer Classic on the Minor League Golf Tour. Sunny Kim currently leads the betting at 9/2 but he’ll face stiff competition from 13/2 priced Matt Hill.

Meanwhile, there’s NASCAR action from Darlington, a full schedule of basketball matches in Nicaragua, two ice hockey games in Russia and plenty of Esports action.
