Belle Vue best bets: Coolavanny Rebel among treble chance for Parker

Coolavanny Rebel hot stuff in Belle Vue best bets
There is a decent 11-race Open card from Belle Vue on Racing Post Greyhound TV tonight (Sky 468, Freesat 250) and T5 Coolavanny Rebel looks decent value to land the 470m Standard at 20:58 and spark off a possible treble for trainer Elaine Parker.
The son of Droopys Scolari is a class act who ran a blinder when a 1 3/4 length runner up in the Final of the Classic and Sunderland back in July when running on strongly after getting badly crowded at the second.

Coolavanny Rebel has since gone on to score five times, including twice over course and distance.
On each occasion he has shown potent acceleration from the traps to make all and, with the favourite T2 Droopys Trapeze returning to action after a lay-off and lacking a look round the track, once again looks nicely housed to bang out for a trap-to-line success.
Russanda Roslea ready to cut loose
Russanda Roslea represents Parker in the Belle Vue Ladies (21:32) and rates a solid bet to maintain her unbeaten record at the track.
The daughter of Ballymac Vic showed blistering early pace when winning an inter-track contest at the venue last month, clocking a very good time of 27.60 in the process.

That sets a clear standard in this line-up and Russanda Roslea has since gone on to score at Sheffield before finishing a highly creditable third at that venue last time out.
If reproducing her sectional of 4.26 on her previous visit she should be away and gone when rounding first bend.
Lots to like about Lightfoot Mikel
Parker looks to hold leading claims of landing a possible treble with the in-form Lightfoot Mikel in the 470m Standard at 21:48.
The dog has won five of his last seven starts and comes into the contest on the back of a hat-trick of successes over 500m at Sheffield.

Although this is his first run at the venue, Lightfoot Mikel is blessed with plenty of early pace and looks as if he will be ideally suited by the 470m circuit.
He should have enough early toe to clear Traps 1 and 2 and boss the inside, and if doing so is going to be very hard to contain if turning the first bend in front.
Affane Pale holds all the aces
Affane Pale ran a blinder when runner-up over course and distance last week and looks to hold outstanding claims of going one better in the 590m Belle Vue Midi (22:03).
John Thompson’s charge flashed from the traps and looked all over the winner until getting collared close home and beaten 1/2 a length by Barnside Chloe.

It was a taking six-bend debut at the venue, where he has won five of his 18 starts over the trip, and with a near 33 per cent strike rate when wearing the red jacket Affane Pale looks nicely drawn to crack out and make all.
