Blackrose Paul to bloom again at Henlow
Graded action from Henlow and Monmore takes centre stage on Racing Post Greyhound TV tonight (Sky 468, Freesat 250) and T3 Blackrose Paul rates the best bet at the former in the A2 at 22:11.
Eric Cantillon’s dog is a tough and consistent perfomer who has won 10 of his 43 starts at the track.
The son of Sparta Maestro is also unbeaten in two runs in the grade and has a 25 per cent strike rate when sporting the white jacket.
Blackrose Paul also has a deadly combination of early pace and staying power and comes into the race in good form having won two of his last four starts.

If trapping in his best style, he can turn handy or even lead before kicking in the turbo mid-race to put the contest to bed.
Catunda David can prove to pacey for rivals
In the A4 (21:24), T5 Catunda David looks to have plenty going for him. Alan Ward’s dog comes into the race in terrific form having won and finished runner-up twice in his last three starts.
He produced a lightning 3.66 sectional when making all to romp to a four length success in a time of 27.75 on his penultimate outing and a repeat would be good enough to see him land the spoils.
The son of Tubbertelly Dubh is also well drawn between two sleepers and this looks a great opportunity for him to ping out and cut loose for a trap-to-line success.
Henlow best bets

22:11 T3 Blackrose Paul (NAP)
Alert holds all the aces at Monmore
T1 Romeo On Alert looks to hold outstanding claims of landing the A8 that gets proceedings underway at Monmore (19:24).
Paul Slater’s dog has gradually found his form after returning from a break, finishing a fine third before showing a good attitude to dig deep and score by a short-head last time out after getting impeded.
The grader has left him unpenalised for that success and the son of Wheres Pedro’s best recent time of 29.25 is better than anything his rivals have achieved.

Romeo On Alert also looks well drawn in the red-jacket, having won six of his 16 starts from it, and has a strike rate of 50 per cent in the grade.
If getting away in his best style he can boss the inside and will be an extremely tough nut to crack if getting on the bunny.
Hera can prove too hot to handle
In the A3 (20:56), T1 Rubicon Hera looks drawn for action. Patricia Cowdrill’s bitch is a useful sort in the grade when timing it right at the lids, as she showed when producing a 4.36 sectional back in May to make all to score by 5 3/4 lengths in a time of 28.39.
The daughter of Kinloch Brae then suffered a slight setback but has been showing plenty of early dash since returning to action without getting much luck in running.
Rubicon Hera looks to be coming to the boil nicely and the return to the red jacket from which she has a 20 per cent strike rate is a big plus.
With an inexperienced pup on her immediate outside and the rest of the field consisting of middle and wide runners, this looks a great opportunity for Rubicon Hera to flash from the traps and lead the bend for an all the way success.
Monmore best bets
19:24 T1 Romeo On Alert (NAP)
20:56 T1 Rubicon Hera (NB)
