Fulham fans win £1000 in free bets with Coral

It was a day to remember for two Fulham fans on Saturday afternoon, as Charlie Johnston and Alan Battams walked away from Craven Cottage with £1,000 in free bets EACH courtesy of Coral!

They reached the final stage of our Half-Time Fan Challenge at Fulham and the aim of the game was to pass the ball into a giant target in the centre circle. The closer to the bullseye they got, the bigger their prize!

Very few were expecting what happened next as BOTH finalists accurately passed the ball into the centre of the target, meaning they each walked away with a monster £1,000 in free bets.

Fulham Partnerships Manager, Billy Coulson, said: “Fan engagement wise, this has to be one of my favourite half-time activations. The crowd got behind the competition, cheering and celebrating when the contestants got two bullseyes. The Hull City substitutes couldn’t get any closer to the action!”

It was 0-0 at the break in a fairly close encounter in which Hull striker Abel Hernandez was denied one-on-one by Fulham stopper Andy Lonergan.

The home side also had a wonderful chance to break the deadlock as Kacaniklic looked certain to score after Alan McGregor fumbled a shot his way, but for some superb defending from Moses Odubajo to force the Swede to put his effort over the bar.

Jamie O’Hara came close with a 25-yard volley which just passed the left post just two minutes into the second half, but it took all of 80 minutes for the game’s first goal to come courtesy of a penalty from Hernandez.

A bursting run from Odubajo saw him brought down by Christensen in the box and the referee was given little choice but award a spot kick, which the Uruguayan just managed to squeeze past Lonergan into the bottom corner to give the visitors all three points.

It will have been a memorable day for our two lucky punters though, who each now have a cool £1000 in free bets, so congratulations to Alan and Charlie. Use them wisely!

Keep an eye out for future competitions with our Partner clubs and you could be the next lucky winner of a bumper prize!
