Promotion-chasing Seagulls to see off Leeds
With Brighton and Hove Albion in touching distance of the automatic promotion places and Leeds United having little more than pride left to play for this season, back the hosts at a very tempting 4/5 price with Coral to win.
The Seagulls are currently on a run of five wins in their last seven matches in the Championship, and just five points off league leaders Hull City with a game in hand.
Leeds (4/1), on the other hand, have just one victory in their past 10, though have drawn six of them so are 12/5 to share the spoils at the Amex too.
However, as Brighton have beaten the Whites in each of their previous four meetings, with three of them being to nil, take tempting odds of 8/5 for another win without conceding.
Scoring Seagulls soaring high
Chris Hughton’s men are also in terrific scoring form, having netted three or more in four of their last five Championship matches, and they are 7/2 shouts to do so again.
Tomer Hemed and Jamie Murphy have mostly been among the goals from those games, and have nine and six strikes apiece this season so far, so back them at 5/4 and 11/4 to score anytime once more.
Bobby Zamora (5/4) have also been on form this term, knocking in seven times, while James Wilson (6/4) might be inspired to dispatch his fourth for the Seagulls against the bitter rivals of his parent club Manchester United.
Can Doukara strike again?
For visitors Leeds, Souleymane Doukara (3/1) has found his feet since the New Year, scoring against Rotherham United, Ipswich Town Bristol City and Bolton Wanderers, though Chris Wood (also 3/1) leads the way for the Yorkshiremen this season in front of goal with eight.
The Whites do still have two games in hand on over half of the Championship, after reaching the FA Cup fifth round, and they will still have ambitions of finishing in the top 10 being 10 points off the pace.
Thankfully for Steve Evans’ side, they are nine points above the drop zone and have played two games more than each of the bottom six.
