Football accumulator tips: 16/1 five-fold for Saturday

It is another busy weekend in the EFL and Saturday’s 3pm kick-offs are the focus for our latest football accumulator tips.

We have picked out five bets from the matches in the Championship, League One and League Two for our Saturday footy acca, which can be backed at more than 16/1, while we will also have Premier League betting tips for the televised games this weekend.

Norwich v Huddersfield

David Wagner once proved what is possible for Huddersfield but current Town boss Darren Moore is showing no sign of repeating that success, having managed just two wins since taking over from Neil Warnock.

Norwich now seem to be heading in the right direction under Wagner, who had looked a dead man walking in early November. Four wins from their last seven games have improved the mood at Carrow Road and a 2-2 draw at high-flying rivals Ipswich maintained the momentum so a home win at 8/13 kicks off our football accumulator tips for Saturday.

Charlton v Burton

Charlton are yet to beat any team in the top half of League One which explains why they are struggling to keep pace with the promotion contenders but they can usually be relied upon against the division’s weaker teams. They have won six out of eight against bottom-half teams at The Valley and have the chance to further improve that record this weekend.

Managerless Burton are languishing in 19th after a dismal run of just one point and two goals in their last seven matches so Charlton can add to their misery at 4/6.

Shrewsbury v Peterborough

Portsmouth are the runaway leaders in League One but Peterborough look ready to push them all the way after hitting top form in recent weeks. Four wins and a draw in their last five games have seen them climb to second and they are performing well at both ends of the pitch, scoring 15 goals and conceding just two in that time.

Shrewsbury have only managed two goals in 11 matches against top-half teams so look short of the firepower needed to trouble Posh, who are added to our football acca tips at 3/5.

Sutton v Mansfield

Sutton’s 8-0 thrashing by Stockport last weekend brought an end to Matt Gray’s reign as manager and his successor faces a tough task keeping them in the EFL given they are six points from safety.

This looks the perfect opportunity for Mansfield to strengthen their promotion challenge, given they sit fourth with games in hand on the teams above them. They put three goals past Crawley last weekend and will be relishing facing Sutton’s defence so the Stags appeal at 8/13.

Tranmere v Swindon

We’re bumping the odds up with the last of our football accumulator tips for Saturday, with Tranmere catching the eye at 6/4 to beat Swindon. Rovers have pulled away from the bottom two thanks to an improvement in their home form which has seen them win three in a row at Prenton Park and five of their last seven.

Swindon head north on the back of heavy defeats against AFC Wimbledon (4-0) and Barrow (3-0), with only Sutton having conceded more away goals.
