As the NBA season approaches the 30-game mark, Golden State Warriors continue to dominate the Championship betting odds, perched as 7/4 favourites in NBA futures betting with Coral.

The Warriors kicked off their campaign trailing both Cleveland and San Antonio on the NBA championship odds, sitting at 5/1. But the Dubs quickly reversed that trend after winning a record-setting 24 straight out of the gate, before finally being stopped by a 108-95 loss in Milwaukee earlier this month.

Reigning MVP Steph Curry has continued the strong play that established him last season as the greatest three-point shooter of all time.

Curry opens Christmas week leading the NBA with 31.8 points per game, and has scored an eye-popping 131 times from beyond the arc through 27 games.

Cavs struggle at sportsbook, Spurs unbeaten at home

The Cavaliers, who came up short against Golden State in last season’s NBA Finals, closely trail the Warriors in NBA Championship betting with 5/2 odds.

It has been somewhat of a streaky start for the Cavs, who opened with eight wins in nine games, and start the week with an 18-7 overall record. But LeBron James and company have struggled on the road, eking out a 6-6 SU record, and have endured a pair of lengthy losing streaks, en route to middling 11-14 record against the spread.

The Spurs also remain in the hunt, closely trailing the Cavaliers with 4/1 odds to round out the list of favourites.

Were it not for Golden State’s hot start, San Antonio would be the big story so far this season.

The Spurs start the week on a 9-1 SU clip, building on a 23-5 SU record that is second only to Golden State in the NBA this season.

Powered by a stifling defense that has held opponents to under 89 points per game, the Spurs have dominated at the sportsbook, covering in 19 of their 28 matchups, and join Golden State as the only teams that remain unbeaten on home court this season.

Clippers, Bulls maintain odds despite shaky starts

Los Angeles Clippers started brutally inconsistent this season, winning just six of their first 13 games, but have rebounded with 10 wins in their last 15, to maintain their 16/1 odds.

However, like Cleveland, the Clippers have been a massive betting disappointment, failing to tally back-to-back ATS wins since the first week of the season, falling to 29th in the Association with a 9-17-2 ATS record.

Chicago Bulls have not fared much better, going 9-16 ATS in NBA betting at Coral, but with a 15-10 SU record, one of America’s most beloved teams maintains strong 20/1 odds.

Best of the rest in NBA betting

Winners of three straight, Atlanta Hawks lead the middle of the pack at 28/1, followed by the struggling Houston Rockets, who have fallen to 33/1, and are joined by the resurgent Miami Heat.

Washington Wizards sit at 40/1, ahead of four teams at 50/1, including the Indiana Pacers, Memphis Grizzlies, Portland Trail Blazers, and Toronto Raptors, while the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks remain deadlocked at 80/1, and the Detroit Pistons join the Utah Jazz at 100/1.

The Warrior-slaying Milwaukee Bucks and New Orleans Pelicans each sport 125/1 odds, followed by the Phoenix Suns at 150/1, the Charlotte Hornets, Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks, and Sacramento Kings at 200/1, and the Orlando Magic at 250/1.

Brooklyn Nets trail at a distant 1000/1, while the Los Angeles Lakers have fallen to 1500/1, and the Philadelphia 76ers remain NBA championship longshots, 2500/1.
