This afternoon is all about one thing: the Premier League.

With the Football League’s Easter schedule seeing them play on Friday and Monday, today leaves the Premier League to roam alone.

This afternoon’s eight fixtures include both of the Manchester clubs and Liverpool, plus a host of bottom-half scraps. The Coral News Team pick out five potential winners…

Manchester United – 2/9

Whatever the situation is surrounding Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba, Man United should be too strong for Swansea City.

The Red Devils have lost just two of their last 42 home league games, and both of those were to Manchester City.

Swansea are much improved since Carlos Carvalhal took over from Paul Clement, but they’ve won only one of their last 12 away games.

Newcastle United – 3/4

Both Newcastle United and Huddersfield Town will have designs on three points when they meet on Tyneside.

Rafa Benitez’s Toon Army have lost just one of their last six games in a run which has seen them beat Man United.

With the Magpies unbeaten at home in five as well, they’ll be confident against a Huddersfield side which has failed to score in 11 of their 15 away games this term.

West Ham United – 9/5

West Ham United have plenty of issues on and off the pitch, but they’ve got to focus for a huge clash with Southampton.

Both sides could go down in two months’ time, so this is a true six-pointer.

Irons skipper Mark Noble has called for unity this weekend, and if the Hammers can channel that spirit, they can see off a Southampton side still learning their way under new boss Mark Hughes.

Watford – 27/20

Watford and today’s opponents Bournemouth have both been notoriously inconsistent this season.

Both have shown an ability to produce top performances, but equally they’ve shared a trait for surprising defeats.

The Hornets have lost only one of their last five at Vicarage Road however, and that could sway it with the Cherries failing to win 31 of their last 36 away from Dean Court.

Manchester City – 4/11

The evening game sees champions-elect Manchester City take on Everton.

It pitches Pep Guardiola against Sam Allardyce, and this should go the way of the Spaniard.

Everton have proven far better at Goodison Park than on their travels, but City’s click movement and energy should overawe the Toffees.
