A £5 wager on tonight’s matches could return over £90 if successful

Lower-league action takes centre-stage this evening with fixtures from League One, League Two and the Scottish Championship dominating the schedule.

Shrewsbury Town and Rochdale will be hoping for victories in the third-tier, while Exeter City are hoping to reignite their promotion hopes away at Port Vale. In Scotland, Dunfermline Athletic take on Brechin City, who are yet to win so far this season.

The Coral News Team have made their selections ahead of a crucial night of domestic matches…

Shrewsbury Town – 5/4

Victory over Scunthorpe United on Saturday saw Shrewsbury leapfrog Wigan Athletic into second place in the League One table. Paul Hurst’s side have won their last five away league games and their last four matches in total in all competitions.

Salop are on the march. And with tonight’s opponents Northampton Town winless in five, it should be more of the same for the visitors.

Rochdale – 17/20

The great escape could well be on at Spotland. Rochdale have been in excellent nick since their FA Cup escapades against Tottenham Hotspur. Keith Hill’s side are unbeaten in four matches and are looking a far tougher proposition now than they did a month ago.

That spells bad news for their opponents tonight, Fleetwood Town. The Cod Army have lost on their last two visits to the Dale and are without a win their last 11 matches.

Exeter City – 9/4

After picking up four wins in eight games during December, Port Vale’s form has taken a turn for the worst. The Valiants are winless in 12 matches and have lost four of their last six fixtures against Exeter.

The Grecians are still in the hunt for automatic promotion and will want to get back to winning ways after losing to Morecambe at the weekend. Paul Tisdale’s side have won two of their last three away from home. They should get plenty of joy against a leaky Vale defence.

Dunfermline – 4/9

The Coral News Team are delving into the Scottish Championship for our final pick of the evening. Dunfermline’s opponents this evening have not won in the league since 29 April 2017.

That’s a run of 29 matches without collecting all three points. Dunfermline may have only won once in their last nine, but Brechin’s overall record should be reason enough to back The Pars this evening.
