Daily Acca Tips: Chile, Wigan and Shrewsbury get the nod
Published:A £5 stake could return over £110 if successful
There was plenty of international football to enjoy yesterday, but there’s still more to come.
Chile’s trip to Sweden is the pick of today’s friendly games. There’s also plenty of lower league action too.
The Coral News Team have cast their eye over the fixture list and come up with five picks that could give your acca a boost…
Chile – 13/10
Chile are one of the big absentees from the World Cup. But they should have enough to beat a fairly ordinary Sweden side.
Alexis Sanchez will be looking to get back to form after a frustrating start to his Manchester United career. That could be very bad news for the Swedes.
Wigan Athletic – 7/10
Wigan’s march towards the Championship should continue against bottom-of-the-table Bury.
The Latics have only lost twice at home in the league all season. It’s very hard to see the visitors inflicting a third defeat today.
Shrewsbury Town – 4/5
Shrewsbury are also looking good for promotion from League One. Paul Hurst’s side have an excellent home record, which should serve them well against AFC Wimbledon.
The Dons have found it tough on the road of late. They’ve only won one of their last 12 away league games.
Lincoln City – 21/20
Lincoln have tended to have the edge over Morecambe in past meetings. The Imps have only lost two of their previous 11 games against today’s opponents.
Danny Cowley’s side come into the latest encounter in better form too. They’re looking to make it three wins on the bounce, while Morecambe have only won one in four.
Luton Town – 8/15
Luton’s promotion push has lost some momentum after five games without victory. Barnet could be the perfect opponents to help them get back on track.
The Bees are seven points off safety with eight games to go. Martin Allen has returned for a fifth spell in charge, but he’s unlikely to mark his return with any points.
