Five selections from England and Europe

Domestic football reigns supreme once more this weekend, as the major players across England and the continent return to action.

Coral’s football anoraks have been busy scouring the Saturday fixtures, and have come up with a tasty five-fold.

A £5 wager could bring home £98.90 if all five selections come in. Prices and returns mentioned correct at time of publishing.

So here’s who we fancy this weekend…

Manchester United to beat Stoke

Starting off in the Premier League and a potential fourth win on the spin for Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho’s men have begun the season in blistering fashion, and despite a less-than stellar record against Stoke, should have far too much class, quality and power. The Red Devils are 1/2 to maintain their perfect start.

Wolves to beat Millwall

Dropping into the Championship and Wolves – favourites to win the division this season – host Millwall at a handy 4/5.

Boss Nuno Espirito Santo will be keen to right the wrongs from their home defeat to Cardiff last month, and Millwall are the perfect opponent for that with the Lions winning just once this term.

Atletico Madrid to beat Valencia

Moving on to Spain and a cracking contest between Atletico Madrid and Valencia.

While Valencia remain mired in turmoil, Atletico will be on a high following the news that Diego Simeone is sticking around until 2020.

And the Rojiblancos have often gone well in this game, winning on three of their last four visits to the Mestalla.

Monaco to beat Nice

They were cherry-picked by Europe’s biggest clubs this summer, but despite losing a many of their star men, Monaco have opened with four wins from four this season.

That’s in stark contrast to Nice, who after challenging for the title last season, have lost their way.

Knocked out of the Champions League in the play-offs, Nice have also lost three of their four Ligue 1 games.

Roma to beat Sampdoria

Sampdoria may have two wins from two, but those games came against Serie A rookies Benevento and a weak Fiorentina side.

Roma lost last time out to Inter, but that could be to Sampdoria’s detriment as they seek to bounce back.

A side featuring Edin Dzeko, Stephen El Shaarawy, Kevin Strootman and Radja Nainggolan should prevail to round off the acca at 17/20.
