Odds and preview ahead of Bundesliga weekend
Bayer Leverkusen have been here before, they came from behind to beat Bayern Munich earlier this month which looked to end Bayern’s title hopes at the end.
But only a few weeks later they can blow the Bundesliga race wide open if they beat Borussia Dortmund on Sunday evening.
Other notable fixtures include RB Leipzig hosting Hoffenheim and third-placed Borussia Monchengladbach take on Wolfsburg.
Stick around as we rundown all the key info and odds ahead of another big weekend in the Bundesliga.
Borussia Dortmund v Bayer Leverkusen (Sunday 5:00pm)
Peter Bosz has already masterminded a victory over Bayern this month and a win against his former employers could have massive ramifications going forward.
Dortmund arrive off the back of a five-game winless run in all competitions, and they failed to score against the league’s basement side Nurnberg last Monday.
Leverkusen to score a victory that would put them bang in the Champions League picture is 27/10.
This could be a vital game in BVB’s season. A win at 17/20 and the title is still in their hands.
But both teams to score and a Leverkusen win at 19/4, could see Bayern pounce and not let go.
RB Leipzig v Hoffenheim (Monday 7:30pm)
The DFB have announced the removal of Monday night fixtures from 2021-22 season.
But that didn’t stop fans from protesting by throwing black tennis balls onto the pitch in Nurnberg’s game against Dortmund.
Returning to on-the-field matters and this Monday match-up could be one of the games of the season. Julian Nagelsmann takes his current club Hoffenheim to his soon-to-be employers RB Leipzig.
Leipzig have scored three goals in half of their last four league games and are 7/4 to score Over 2.5 goals.
Hoffenheim came back from 3-0 down to snatch a draw against Die Borussen and are 9/2 to win with both teams to score.
Timo Werner is 21/20 to score anytime. Hoffenheim’s Andrej Kramaric is 6/1 to open the scoring.
Best of the rest
On Saturday Bayern Munich host Hertha Berlin who they haven’t beaten in the last four meetings in all competitions.
There were three draws on the spin before Hertha won 2-0 earlier this season. You can find the away side on the double chance to win or draw at 7/2.
Bayern to win and go level on points with BVB is 1/5.
Borussia Monchegladbach are without a couple of their key men including Denis Zakaria and Alassane Plea, so opponents Wolfsburg could fancy their chances at 10/3 for the win.
