Odds and preview ahead of Bundesliga weekend

There are some hugely significant games at both the top and bottom of the league this weekend.

Third from bottom Stuttgart host seventeenth-placed Hannover on Sunday afternoon.

And there’s a key dual for European places as Eintracht Frankfurt play Hoffenheim.

However, our starting point is Borussia Park as Monchengladbach lock horns with Bayern Munich.

Borussia Monchengladbach v Bayern Munich (Saturday, 5:30pm)

Third-place plays second as ‘Gladbach entertain the champions on Saturday evening.

It was the home side that inflicted a second defeat of the season on Bayern in October.

New signing Alassane Plea opened the scoring on that occasion, and he’s 15/2 to repeat the feat.

Yann Sommer has kept the most clean sheets this season with 10. Gladbach to win to nil is 11/1.

As Borussia Dortmund play on Friday night, Bayern will know what they need to do.

Der FCB have won their last four league games on the spin and are 4/7 for victory.

In the goalscoring market Serge Gnabry is 11/5 to notch in a home win.

Augsburg v Borussia Dortmund (Friday, 7:30pm)

Dortmund take to the road to face relegation-threatened Augsburg on Friday night.

The league leaders are 4/6 to score a vital away win. But they will be wary after struggling to a goalless draw in their last away game against Nurnberg.

Jadon Sancho has 10 Bundesliga assists this season and has also grabbed eight goals. The wing wizard is 13/8 to score anytime.

Marco Reus should be back for this one, the Dortmund skipper is 5/4 to score in the game.

Augsburg will take heart from Nurnberg’s dogged display. The home side are 6/5 on the double chance.

Best of the rest

Eintracht Frankfurt battle it out with Hoffenheim with both sides having a sniff at European football next season.

Frankfurt occupy the last Europa League place, but a home win at 13/10 would put six points between the two sides.

Hoffenheim’s Andrej Kramaric has really come of age in Germany, the former Leicester man is 14/5 to score in an away win.

Wolfsburg have climbed to fifth spot after winning their last two games. You can find them at 14/5 to win against Werder Bremen with both teams finding the net.

Admir Mehmedi to notch his third goal in two games is at 2/1 anytime.
