MK Dons are also struggling in the Championship in 20th place, with only two wins in six against Reading, and Northampton in the FA Cup second round. Unlike Chelsea, they have accrued two losses including a heavy 5-0 defeat against Burnley and a recent 3-1 loss against Bolton.

It is set to be an interesting clash between the two struggling sides as MK Dons look to secure a place in the round of 16. Chelsea desperately need to find some silverware this season after a dreadful league performance. New interim-manager Guus Hiddink could sway favour with Abramovich if he brings home the Capital One Cup.
