Belle Vue best bets: Droopys Two terrific value in Oaks final

Droopys Two a tasty punt in RPGTV Oaks Final

T6 Droopys Two is progressing at a rate of knots and looks cracking value at the odds on offer to land the final of the RPGTV Oaks at Belle Vue tonight (21:08) on a superb Open race card screened live on Sky Sports 5.

With the market leaders T2 Forest Twilight and T4 Dominos Strom both closely matched in the early pace stakes, and the latter being drawn wider than ideal, there is a possibility of scrimmaging on the inside and Droppys Two looks ideally housed to capitalise and put his finishing kick to maximum use.

Office Flirt can kiss rivals goodbye

In the Sky Channel 468 For Live Greyhounds Stakes (19:43) T6 Office Flirt looks potentially a cut-above her rivals and rates a solid bet.

Kevin Hutton’s bitch has some smart form on her travels, including a success over Jet Steam Pearl in the first round heats of the Coral Brighton Belle at Hove.

Droopys Trapeze to turn on the style

T6 Droopys Trapeze looked desperately unlucky not to reach the finals of the RPGTV Laurels and can take advantage of a drop in class to gain compensation in the RPGTV Every Tuesday To Sunday Stakes (19:59).

Trained by Jimmy Wright, the son of Tullymurray act showed his customary early pace but got badly bumped and the first and second bends before being beaten just 1 3/4 lengths into third behind Dorotas Tiger.

Prior to that Droopys Trapeze has won his last three starts and was ultra-impressive over course and distance in the last of those when beating Oscar Junior by 2 3/4 lengths.

He produce a lightning 4.20 sectional to make all to score easily in a time of 27.55 and the runner-up has franked the form by going on to clock the fastest winning time in last week’s semi finals of the Laureals.

A reproduction of that effort is going to make Droopys Trapeze very tough to beat.

Droppys Country drawn to deliver

In the RPGTV Laurels (20:33), T6 Droopys Country looks worth a wager to exploit what looks a good draw and turn over the red-hot jolly Hiya Butt.

Jimmy Wright’s dog has tons of of early pace and is a real tough nut to crack once getting clear on the bunny.

He posted a superb trial over course and distance when producing a flashy 4.37 split, before going down by a short-head to Hiya Butt in a time of 27.53, and after running well to finish runner-up to Roswell Iceman in the heats got back to winning ways in the semis six days ago when beating Chairty Dragon by a length.

Droopys Counrty has nothing to fear from that re-opposing rival and as the sole wide seed looks ideally housed in the stripes to capitalise on any inside jostling as T3 Hiya Butt has a really pacy sort on his outer in the shape of T4 Oscar Junior to overcome.
