Odds and preview of Carabao Cup clash

All eyes are on North London tonight, as Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur face off in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.

The Gunners have already beaten their fierce rivals this month. But they face a Spurs side buoyed by qualification for the Champions League knockouts – and three straight league wins.

Ahead of tonight’s cup cracker at the Emirates (live on Sky Sports Football from 7:45pm), we’ve got all the odds and info…

Head-to-Head

Long gone are the days of the noughties, when Arsenal went 21 successive meetings without defeat. It’s a very even rivalry now.

The last four meetings have all gone the way of the home side – which fares well for Unai Emery’s men tonight.

Arsenal came from behind to win 4-2 in the Premier League meeting earlier this month. But defeat at Wembley in February of this year shows they can’t afford to be complacent.

Likely XIs

Arsenal have gone 3-4-2-1 in recent weeks, and the system has led to wins over the likes of Spurs and AFC Bournemouth, amongst others.

Shkodran Mustafi is racing to regain fitness, but could still find a starting place alongside Sokratis and Nacho Monreal in a back three. Further forward, Aaron Ramsey could partner Alex Iwobi in a duo behind the main striker.

As for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, they’ve stuck to a 4-3-2-1 system in this competition. In defence, Serge Aurier could fill in again at left-back, with talented youngster Kyle Walker-Peters on the opposite flank.

Up top, Poch is unlikely to rest his big guns in a North London Derby. So Harry Kane seems likely to lead the line, ahead of an advanced trio including Dele Alli.

Key Battles

Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang was a thorn in Spurs’ side earlier this month, grabbing two goals before setting up Lucas Torreira’s game-clinching strike. The visitors’ makeshift backline will have to be at their very best to stop him.

Tottenham’s biggest creative threat could come from the flanks, with Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen cutting inside and delivering pin-point crosses. The Gunners will need aerial power and organisation to stop the supply to Kane.

Match Odds

With home advantage on their side, Arsenal are 8/11 favourites to make the semis. Meanwhile, you can get Evens on Spurs to qualify.

Three of the Gunners’ last five games have produced four or more goals – including six of them on derby day earlier this month. We’re offering 29/20 on Over 3.5 Goals in 90 minutes, with Arsenal to Win and Both Teams to Score at 29/10.

In the Goalscorer markets, Aubameyang is 11/8 Anytime, while the Gabon ace is 9/2 to net Two or More Goals for the second NLD on the spin.

However, it’s Spurs ace Kane at Evens who leads the Anytime market, having struck eight times in his previous nine against the Gunners.
