Bundesliga Preview: Can nervy Dortmund hold on to their lead?

Odds for this weekend’s German action
It wasn’t too long ago that Borussia Dortmund had a comfortable seven-point lead at the top of the table.
But not much has gone right since they blew a three-goal lead against Hoffenheim last month.
Lucien Favre’s side are now only above Bayern Munich on goal difference. And they were dumped out of the Champions League after a 4-0 aggregate loss to Tottenham Hotspur. Bayern are now 4/11 favourites to defend their title.

Dortmund v Stuttgart
This game could have come at just the right time for Dortmund. They’ve won five of their last six games against Stuttgart, scoring 18 goals and only giving up three during that run.
Our traders expect them to get the job done here. The hosts are 3/10 favourites, or 13/10 to win to nil.
Der BVB netted within three minutes when these sides met earlier this season. They’re 16/5 to be leading after 15 minutes again.
If Dortmund are going to go all the way to the title, Marco Reus’ quality and experience will be vital. The captain is 3/1 to open the scoring.
Bayern Munich v Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg fought back from two goals down to draw at the Allianz Arena last season. Could they catch Bayern out again? The champions may have one eye on Wednesday’s Champions League tie against Liverpool.
If Wolfsburg are going to get anything, they’ll need Wout Weghorst to be clinical when he gets a sight of goal. There’s 3/1 about the big striker netting against Bayern for the second time this season.
At the other end, Thomas Muller will be fired up after being axed from the Germany set-up. He’s 6/4 to get on the scoresheet.
Werder Bremen v Schalke
It’s been a strange season for Schalke. They sit just four points above the relegation zone ahead of their trip to Bremen. But they were minutes away from taking a lead to Manchester City for next week’s second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.
Schalke have only picked up two points from their last six league games. Their domestic form doesn’t look like picking up here, with the hosts even-money favourites.
Dominic Tedesco will make changes after last week’s 4-0 loss to Dusseldorf. But will it make his side any more fluent? With a European spot not too far way, Die Werderaner are 23/10 to be leading at half-time and full-time.
