Odds for tonight’s cup ties

There was plenty of drama in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup third-round ties. There could be plenty more in tonight’s action.

The Coral News Team have previewed Liverpool v Chelsea in full, with tips for the other four games right here…

Tottenham Hotspur v Watford: Watford or Draw – 31/20

Spurs won’t feel the benefits of home advantage in the unfamiliar surroundings of Milton Keynes. And Mauricio Pochettino doesn’t tend to take this competition seriously. Since losing the final in 2015, his side haven’t progressed beyond the fourth round.

Watford have already beaten the North London side this season. Javi Gracia’s side are flying high in fourth. They’ll fancy their chances against a team that have lost three of their last four outings.

Nottingham Forest v Stoke City: Forest to win and Under 2.5 Goals – 21/5

Stoke were the pre-season favourites to win the Championship, but they find themselves down in 18th place. A cup run is far from the priority for them right now.

Forest are ninth, only two points outside the play-off spots. With an important game against Blackburn Rovers this weekend, Aitor Karanka will make a few changes. Don’t expect a classic, but the hosts should have enough to get into the draw for the next round.

Arsenal v Brentford: Arsenal to win and Both Teams to Score – 27/20

Arsenal have racked up five straight wins in all competitions, but Unai Emery will shuffle his pack here.

The hosts have only kept one clean sheet under Emery so far. And Brentford will go for it against an unfamiliar Arsenal XI. It’s set up for an open game, but the host’s superior quality could make the difference.

West Ham United v Macclesfield Town: West Ham to Win to Nil – 4/6

After a rocky start, West Ham have started to turn things around under Manuel Pellegrini. They followed up their 3-1 win over Everton with a draw against Chelsea to restore some optimism.

Even though the Hammers will make plenty of changes here, the gulf in class should be too big for their League Two opponents to overcome. Javier Hernandez, Lucas Perez and Adrian are all in line for a rare start at the London Stadium.
