Daily Acca Tips: Aston Villa v Middlesbrough headlines our four picks

A £5 stake could return just short of £140

As domestic football winds down for yet another season, it’s only right for the Coral News Team to venture overseas for the majority of this evening’s picks.

There’s the small matter of the Championship play-off semi-final second leg between Aston Villa and Middlesbrough. But it’s all still up for grabs with some seriously important games going on in the Netherlands, Ireland and France.

Combine this together and you get tonight’s acca tips…

Aston Villa to beat Middlesbrough – 5/4

Villa hold a slight one-goal advantage heading into this second leg at Villa Park. Steve Bruce has won more promotions than any other manager at this level. He will be looking to turn four promotions into five, with the first step of overcoming Middlesbrough tonight.

Despite Boro’s impressive end of season form winning six of their last ten games. Villa have a formidable home record, losing just two home league games all season.

Vitesse Arnhem v FC Utrecht – Draw – 19/5

These two sides come into this final double header of the season with the fillip of Europa League on their minds. Utrecht have an almost unparalleled record at home, losing just one game, only bettered by PSV Eindhoven. However, it’s often been a tight affair when these two teams go head-to-head in Arnhem.

St. Patrick’s Athletic to beat Sligo Rovers – 8/13

These two played out a 0-0 draw last month in the reverse fixture but since then Pats have picked up seven points to Sligo’s three. This leaves Sligo struggling near the bottom whilst Saints hunt down a Europa League spot.

Le Havre to beat Stade Brestois – 5/4

We travel to Ligue 2 for this pick as Le Havre take on Brest in this new-fangled play-off promotion system.

The winner of this tie will play third-placed AC Ajaccio and be one step closer to Ligue 1 football next season.

Le Havre have won all of their last six at home and despite Brest’s impressive away results it looks like that home advantage could be vital.
