Daily Acca Tips: Blackburn, Shrewsbury, Wigan, and Betis feature

Real Betis La Liga

Who are you backing?

There’s a decent array of football across Easter Monday with a host of League One fixtures to get stuck into.

There’s also an exciting-looking game from La Liga, too. The Coral News Team have selected four teams who should do the business for any acca backers.

Check out the four-fold of sides below…

Blackburn Rovers

Tony Mowbray has done a superb job at Blackburn to date. Rovers are flying under the ex-Middlesbrough gaffer, and look set for a big title push.

They’re piling the pressure on league leaders Shrewsbury Town. And they have quality personnel in Charlie Mulgrew, Bradley Dack, and Danny Graham.

MK Dons are struggling for survival and look like they could take a drop this season. Dons are third-from-bottom and welcome the best away side in the division. Rovers to win.

Shrewsbury Town

Shrews are top of the table heading into the latest round of League One fixtures. And they won’t give up their top dog status lightly.

Paul Hurst’s side welcome Oxford United to New Meadow having lost just three games there all season. That includes 12 wins from 18 league games.

Oxford will have to pull off a serious shock to get anything from their North West visit.

Wigan Athletic

The Coral News Team are sticking with League One’s top teams to do the business. Wigan need a win to keep pace with both Blackburn and Shrewsbury.

Paul Cook’s side have been generally relentless all season and have won 13 of their 18 league away fixtures.

They face a tricky fixture against a play-offs-chasing Portsmouth. But the Latics should have too much for Pompey at Fratton Park.

Real Betis

Moving to La Liga, there’s an exciting clash between Getafe and Real Betis at the Coliseum. These two sides have played some of the most sparkling football in Spain this season.

But it’s Betis who have really caught the eye under Quique Setien. The Seville outfit play very offensive football. In fact, both sides do.

But Betis have the edge in the table, holding a four-point advantage. They’ve also won five of their last eight games.

Getafe are no mugs but Betis could pull off a pricey upset if they turn up and perform in Madrid.
