Sunday’s acca including Liverpool & Man United could pay over £103
Four-fold across the day’s games
There’s a cracking bill of football from across England and Europe today and that means we’ve got an accumulator going.
With fixtures from the Premier League, Championship, and La Liga to chew over, the Coral News Team has picked out a juicy four-fold.
If all four selections manage to click, you could win £103.80 off just a £5 stake. All odds and prices correct at time of publication.
Aston Villa v Birmingham – Draw
This acca begins with an ambitious selection in the early kick-off between Aston Villa and Birmingham City.
Villa are favourites and rightfully so considering they’ve won six games on the trot. But the Blues are gathering pace under Steve Cotterill and this is a derby. They’re nearly always tight.
City have won four of their last six league games and have begun to pull clear of the relegation zone. They’ll pack the midfield and defence and look to take a point here.
The draw is 12/5 and that starts this Sunday four-fold off.
Manchester United to beat Newcastle United
After their defeat at Tottenham Hotspur, Man United got back to winning ways with three points against Huddersfield Town.
It was a clinical performance from Jose Mourinho’s side and more of the same will be expected against Newcastle.
Rafa Benitez’s team bagged a point last time against Crystal Palace but it was nigh-on miraculous. Palace battered the Magpies for long stretches.
Newcastle have failed to score in four of their last six home matches against Manchester United and that shouldn’t change too much here.
United are generously-priced at 8/13.
Liverpool to beat Southampton
Southampton finally bagged three points in a 3-2 away win over West Bromwich Albion last weekend. However, the Saints still haven’t won a home Premier League match since November.
Liverpool looked back to their superb best against Spurs in that pulsating 2-2 draw at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will be looking to get back to winning ways at St. Mary’s. Saints like to play a possession game and that’s where the Reds really hurt sides lower down the table.
Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, and co. feed off opposition mistakes. Liverpool have what it takes to win all three points here at 4/5.
Girona or Draw v Sevilla
This acca finishes off in Spain as Sevilla host Girona in the early La Liga kick-off.
This game should be a belter with both sides playing an attractive style of football. The home side aren’t exactly in form at the minute though, winning just once in their last eight.
On the other hand, Girona have won four of their last eight, drawing two, and losing just two.
Plus Sevilla played in midweek in a hard-fought win over Leganes to make it to the Copa del Rey final. Their minds could be elsewhere.
The 11/10 for Girona to avoid defeat here is well-worth taking.
