SPORTSBOOK ODDS

There’s a host of footballing action on Tuesday night. Most notably, there are World Cup qualifiers from Europe and Africa, but there’s also FA Cup action and some intriguing international friendlies.

The Coral News Team have scoured the day’s games to give you a tempting fivefold acca. If it comes good, a £5 stake would return £131.04. Odds correct at time of writing.

Here are their selections for some of Tuesday’s top clashes…

Slovakia to beat Norway

Neither side made the cut for next summer’s World Cup, but it was Jan Kozak’s men who looked considerably the better in qualifying – finishing second to England in Group F.

That was largely thanks to an impressive home record, with Repre winning four of the five qualifiers on their own patch. And they look likely to get another win as they face Norway in Trnava for Tuesday night’s friendly.

Lars Lagerback’s side have lost seven of their last eight away games, and their only away win in the past two years has come against San Marino. Slovakia to Win looks generously priced at 4/5.

Republic of Ireland v Denmark: Under 2.5 Goals

The first leg of this pair’s World Cup play-off was an extremely cagey and cautious affair, finishing 0-0. That’s par for the course when Martin O’Neill’s men are in action.

None of their previous six games have produced more than two goals. In fact, you have to go back more than a year to the last time a competitive game produced three or more strikes. With Denmark likely to sit deep and strike on the break in Dublin, goals will be at a premium. Under 2.5 Goals is a 4/9 addition to the acca.

Accrington Stanley v Guiseley: Accrington to Win to Nil

A spirited performance from Guiseley earned them an FA Cup First Round Replay against the League Two side. But all the signs point to a straightforward Stanley victory in the rematch.

John Coleman’s men are unbeaten in five games, conceding just one goal in the process. In that time, they produced an eye-catching 4-0 rout of Wigan Athletic in the Checkatrade Trophy.

As for the National League team, they’ve failed to score in three of their previous four outings – losing 1-0 at home to Bromley on Saturday. Accrington to Win to Nil looks a smart addition at 7/5.

Iceland to beat Qatar

Heimir Hallgrimsson’s side booked their place at World Cup 2018 by topping a group containing the likes of Croatia and the Ukraine. They head into Tuesday’s friendly at Qatar having won six of the last eight games, including a 3-0 victory away to Turkey.

Al-Annabi have lost four of previous five matches, including a home defeat to Curacao. That’s been part of a longer period of poor form, as they finished bottom of a six-team group in World Cup qualifying. An Iceland victory in Doha is 3/4.

Senegal -1 (v. South Africa)

Senegal sit five points top of their WCQ group heading into the final fixture, and they’ll be looking to finish off in style on home soil. Visitors South Africa are bottom of Group D and unlikely to cause their opponents any problems.

Les Lions de la Teranga have generally won games in convincing fashion. In fact, 13 of their last 14 wins have been secured by a margin of two goals or more. That included a 2-0 victory in the reverse fixture. The Senegal -1 handicap looks a smart call at 7/5.
