Coral’s Tennis and Snooker acca pays over £220 from a £5 stake

Limoges Open and Champion of Champions feature

With the international break on the horizon, Tuesday’s acca moves away from football for a change.

Tennis and Snooker take centre-stage for today’s five-fold.

The Coral News Team have chosen five selections from the Limoges Open and the Champion of Champions.

If all selections are correct, a £5 stake could return £227.85. All prices and returns correct at time of writing.

Alize Cornet to beat Danka Kovinic

Some 70 places separate world number 38 Alize Cornet from her first round opponent Danka Kovinic.

But the pair met just a couple of months ago however, and Cornet only prevailed in a third set decider.

Montenegro contender Kovinic has lost all three matches since then however, while Cornet has since reached the quarter-finals in Wuhan and the last-16 in Beijing. The latter included a straight sets win over former world number one Angelique Kerber.

Cornet struggled against Kovinic last time out, but a 2-0 win looks good at 8/11.

Kaia Kanepi to beat Maryna Zanevska

Kaia Kanepi is on the way back after a more than a year battling injury.

The Estonian is a four-time WTA Tour winner, and should have little trouble dealing with Maryna Zanevska.

Ukrainian-born Belgian Zanevska did win the pair’s previous meeting a year ago, but Kanepi is in far better shape this time around.

She reached the US Open quarter-finals in September, losing to eventual runner-up Madison Keys. Zanevska has lost seven of her last eight matches, and Kanepi can make that eight from nine in straight sets at 8/11.

Richel Hogenkamp to beat Sabine Lisicki

Sabine Lisicki was Wimbledon finalist in 2013, but her career has badly nosedived in the last 18 months.

The German is ranked 266 in the world, and has only played 10 singles matches this year due to injury.

And having lost three of her last four, Lisicki is in danger of another early exit in Limoges.

Richel Hogenkamp is her opponent, and despite losing her last four matches, has one crucial thing in her favour – match sharpness.

The Dutchwoman has played all season long, reaching four finals on the ITF Tour along the way.

With Lisicki so out of form and match practice, Hogenkamp can take advantage here. Both players desperately need a win, but Hogenkamp to win in three sets  is the pick at 7/2.

Michael White to beat Marco Fu

Onto the baize where Marco Fu and Michael White meet in the Champion of Champions.

Fu hasn’t really got going yet this season, but White is already up and running.

The 26-year-old Welshman won the Paul Hunter Classic in August in a run which included a 4-1 thumping of world number one Mark Selby before a 4-2 win over Shaun Murphy in the final.

And with Fu labouring this season, the 27/20 on White to win this best-of-seven opening round clash is a welcome acca booster

Shaun Murphy to beat Mark King

The final leg of the Coral five-fold is Shaun Murphy to see off Mark King.

The 2005 world champion Murphy has dominated this clash, winning 12 of their 13 meetings.

And the man from Harlow has enjoyed a solid season so far. Murphy reached the final of both the China Championship and Paul Hunter Classic.

King, who finally ended his search for a ranking title last year at the Northern Ireland Open, reached the last four of the Indian Open.

But that’s been his only run of note this year, and 4/9 says Murphy takes his head-to-head record to 13 wins from 14.
